This is a first-of-its-kind triangular flyover in Saurashtra region and is built in order to ease the traffic issues on the chaotic Gondal Road.
The construction of the 58.44 crore bridge initiated in 2008 and was to complete in 2010, but it got delayed for two years due to lack of permissions from Railway. The Bridge is constructed by Rajkot Municipal Corporation.
