Rajkot: Shri Modi to inaugurate, 1129.81 meter long and 16.50 meters wide ‘Swami Vivekananda’ over bridge on Gondal-Mavdi road. This is a first-of-its-kind triangular flyover in Saurashtra region and is built in order to ease the traffic issues on the chaotic Gondal Road.

The construction of the 58.44 crore bridge initiated in 2008 and was to complete in 2010, but it got delayed for two years due to lack of permissions from Railway. The Bridge is constructed by Rajkot Municipal Corporation.

Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has praised the Indian contingent for their stupendous performance at the recently held 2025 Asian Athletics Championships in South Korea."The hard work and determination of every athlete were clearly visible throughout the tournament", Shri Modi stated.

The Prime Minister posted on X :
