PM thanks Lata Mangeshkar ji for her Janmashtami wishes

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed his gratitude to Lata Mangeshkar ji for her Janmashtami wishes. The legendary singer had wished the Prime Minister and attached one of her Gujarati bhajan in her tweet wishing the Prime Minister. 

The Prime Minister tweeted in reply: 

"आशीर्वचन के लिए बहुत-बहुत आभार @mangeshkarlata दीदी। आपको भी जन्माष्टमी की अनेकानेक शुभकामनाएं। आपके सुरों से सजा यह भजन मंत्रमुग्ध कर देने वाला है।"

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam today, highlighting the power of determination, perseverance, and courage in overcoming life's challenges and turning adverse circumstances into favorable ones.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

"दैवं पुरुषकारेण यः समर्थः प्रबाधितुम्।

न दैवेन विपन्नार्थः पुरुषः सोऽवसीदति॥"

A person who possesses the determination, perseverance and courage to turn adverse circumstances into favorable ones is never defeated by the challenges of life. Instead, through continuous effort and unwavering resolve, he moves forward and ultimately achieves success.
