ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸਮੁੰਦਰੀ ਦਿਵਸ (National Maritime Day) ਦੇ ਅਵਸਰ ‘ਤੇ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈਆਂ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਤੀ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸਮੁੰਦਰੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਬੰਦਰਗਾਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਬੱਧਤਾ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਐਕਸ(X) ‘ਤੇ ਪੋਸਟ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ:
“ਅੱਜ, ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸਮੁੰਦਰੀ ਦਿਵਸ (National Maritime Day) ‘ਤੇ, ਅਸੀਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਸਮ੍ਰਿੱਧ ਸਮੁੰਦਰੀ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ-ਨਿਰਮਾਣ (nation-building) ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਗਈ ਇਸ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।
ਅਸੀਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਤੀ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸਮੁੰਦਰੀ ਖੇਤਰ (maritime sector) ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬੰਦਰਗਾਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਾਂਗੇ।”
