PM pays tributes to those who took part in the Quit India Movement

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has paid tributes to all those who took part in the Quit India Movement, which played a crucial role in strengthening the fight against colonialism.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said;

"Tributes to the greats who took part in the Quit India Movement, which played a crucial role in strengthening the fight against colonialism. Inspired by Mahatma Gandhi, the spirit of the Quit India movement reverberated across India and energised the youth of our nation."

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam today, highlighting the power of determination, perseverance, and courage in overcoming life's challenges and turning adverse circumstances into favorable ones.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

"दैवं पुरुषकारेण यः समर्थः प्रबाधितुम्।

न दैवेन विपन्नार्थः पुरुषः सोऽवसीदति॥"

A person who possesses the determination, perseverance and courage to turn adverse circumstances into favorable ones is never defeated by the challenges of life. Instead, through continuous effort and unwavering resolve, he moves forward and ultimately achieves success.
