The Prime Minister tweeted :

"Congratulations to @OLyAnshu for winning the Silver and @saritamor3 for winning the Bronze at the World Wrestling Championship 2021. Best wishes to these outstanding athletes for their future endeavours."

Prime Minister Shares Timeless Wisdom from Yoga Shlokas in Sanskrit

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today shared a Sanskrit shloka highlighting the transformative power of yoga. The verses describe the progressive path of yoga—from physical health to ultimate liberation—through the practices of āsana, prāṇāyāma, pratyāhāra, dhāraṇā, and samādhi.

In a post on X, Shri Modi wrote:

“आसनेन रुजो हन्ति प्राणायामेन पातकम्।
विकारं मानसं योगी प्रत्याहारेण सर्वदा॥

धारणाभिर्मनोधैर्यं याति चैतन्यमद्भुतम्।
समाधौ मोक्षमाप्नोति त्यक्त्त्वा कर्म शुभाशुभम्॥”
