"On their Statehood Day, I convey my greetings and best wishes to the people of Croatia, a Nation which is India's deeply valued friend", the Prime Minister said.

Prime Minister shares a Sanskrit Subhashitam, highlights noble character as the foundation of respect, trust, and effective leadership

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam today, highlighting how a person of noble character earns respect in society and is regarded as worthy of every responsibility.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

"शीलवान् पूजितो लोके शीलवान् साधुसम्मतः।

शीलवान् सर्वकर्मार्हः शीलवान् प्रियदर्शनः॥"

A person of noble character earns respect in society and the esteem of the virtuous. Through integrity, humility and disciplined conduct, such an individual is regarded as worthy of every responsibility. Their personality is admirable, inspiring and worthy of emulation. In truth, noble character is the true foundation of lasting success, effective leadership, and enduring trust.
