PM appreciates Election Commission on National Voters Day

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has appreciated the Election Commission on National Voters Day today.

"National Voters Day is an occasion to appreciate the remarkable contribution of the EC to strengthen our democratic fabric and ensure smooth conduct of elections. This is also a day to spread awareness on the need of ensuring voter registration, particularly among the youth", the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today shared Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising that humanity may live in harmony with the Earth, as earth is the nurturing mother of all life and the moral order that sustains her should be respected.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit verse-

विश्वस्वं मातरमोषधीनां ध्रुवां भूमिं पृथिवीं धर्मणा धृताम्।

शिवां स्योनामनु चरेम विश्वहा॥

The Prime Minister posted on X:
