Narendra Modi meets newly appointed religious head of Dawoodi Bohra community Syedna Mufaddal Saiduddin

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today personally met the newly appointed religious head of Dawoodi Bohra community Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin in Mumbai, and paid his condolences to the departed religious leader Dr Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin. They recalled Mr. Modi’s association with the late Syedna.

The newly appointed 53rd Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, who is son of the late Dr Syedna, hailed the able leadership qualities of Mr. Narendra Modi and wished him great success in takingIndiato greater heights.

Prominent among those present on the occasion included BJP’sMaharashtraunit President Devendra Fadanvis, Mumbai unit President, senior party leaders Vijay Rupani and Gopinath Munde and leaders of Dawoodi Bohra community.

Prime Minister condoles the passing of legendary playback singer S. Janaki Amma

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has expressed deep grief over the passing of distinguished playback singer S. Janaki Amma.

The Prime Minister said that her passing is an irreparable loss to the world of music and culture. He noted that her songs in various languages were popular across generations and gave voice to every emotion with unparalleled grace and versatility.

Shri Modi said that her melodies will continue to enchant listeners in the years to come.
