On the afternoon of 7th May, Shri Narendra Modi addressed rallies at Valmiki Nagar and Bettiah in Bihar, and assured the people of the BJP’s focus on good governance and development. Shri Modi also made a scathing attack on the Congress’ deceitful politics, and urged the people to support the BJP’s development politics.

The Congress’ negligence towards the people, and more so of their utter disregard for the tribals and the Adivasi community, was spoken of by Shri Modi, who stated how the nothing had been done for their betterment during the Congress’ rule of over 50 years. He said that it was under Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji’s government that a separate Ministry and budget was allocated for the welfare of the tribal community.

Shri Modi also shared deep concern for the condition of the farmers and spoke of how the BJP had in its Manifesto cited of bringing in standardisation in the determination of Minimum Support Price, and thereby ensuring fair revenue for their produce.

He retaliated to the Congress leaders’ statements of him practising ‘neech raajneeti’ (low-level politics), and said that it was the Congress which was playing low-level politics. He cited the many scams that the Congress had unabashedly indulged in - like the CWG scam, the Adarsh scam, the coal block allocation scam, the Nirbhaya Fund which lies unused till date – and asserted that this, and more, were proof enough of the low-level politics of the Congress. “I want to tell you what is ‘Neech Rajneeti’. When grains are allowed to rot, not given to poor & given to alcohol makers - its Neech Rajneeti. CWG was a chance to show India's might to the world. There was a toilet paper scam also. This is Neech Rajneeti. Our Jawans work hard but Pakistan cuts their heads & Delhi is silent, feeds Pak PM Biryani. Isn’t this Neech Rajneeti & Karma? Nobody steals coal but these people did. Is such corruption Neech Rajneeti & Neech Karma or not,” said Shri Modi.

In Bettiah, Shri Modi recalled the statement made by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru of Bettiah’s potential to become the 5th Metro city, and stated how the Congress had not even bothered to develop this untapped potential. He said that how will those, who hadn’t listened to their ancestors either, listen to the needs and requirements of the people.

Shri Modi affirmed that his fight was against those who had looted the Nation, and urged the people to support the BJP and enable a ‘sevak’ to serve the Nation. He appealed to the people to vote in large numbers on 12th May, and assured them that for a strong government that they enable him to form, he will return their faith and support by developing a strong Nation.

Shri Chandramohan Rai and Shri Satish Chandra Dubey were present during the rally at Valmiki Nagar.

Win every booth, strengthen every connection, and Keralam will script a new chapter of development with BJP-NDA: PM Modi’s strong hope
Just like a true player peaks in crucial moments, karyakartas must now increase their intensity, outreach, and commitment as polling day approaches: PM drew an analogy from cricketer Sanju Samson’s career
The Congress and Left parties have constantly promoted appeasement and aligned with extremist elements for vote-bank politics: PM Modi to Keralam
Keralam’s youth are seeking change, driven by aspirations for better infrastructure, industry, and employment opportunities: PM Modi

PM Modi interacted with BJP karyakartas across Keralam under the “Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot” initiative, energising grassroots organisation and expressing confidence that the state is ready for a historic political shift. Extending greetings to the people of Keralam, he noted that the ongoing election campaign reflects a strong wave in favour of BJP-NDA.

Opening the interaction, PM Modi described himself as a fellow karyakarta, appreciating the dedication and perseverance of Keralam’s cadre who have worked tirelessly despite challenging political conditions. He emphasised that the growing enthusiasm seen across regions from Thiruvananthapuram to Thrissur signals a turning point in Keralam’s politics.

Encouraging strategic booth-level outreach, PM Modi urged karyakartas to intensify efforts in the final phase of the campaign. Drawing an analogy from cricketer Sanju Samson’s performance under pressure, he said that just like a true player peaks in crucial moments, karyakartas must now increase their intensity, outreach, and commitment as polling day approaches.

Highlighting ground feedback from karyakartas, PM Modi noted the increasing support for BJP even in traditionally difficult areas such as coastal regions, where fishermen and local communities are now actively joining the party.

Drawing a sharp contrast with opposition parties, PM Modi stated that both LDF and UDF have thrived on misgovernance, corruption, and political complacency, assuming that power would alternate between them indefinitely. He credited the people of Keralam for challenging this mindset.

He established that Keralam’s youth are seeking change, driven by aspirations for better infrastructure, industry, and employment opportunities. He noted that migration has become a compulsion due to lack of opportunities, and the youth now see BJP as the capable party for a change.

He also raised concerns over corruption and divisive politics, accusing Congress and Left parties of promoting appeasement and aligning with extremist elements for vote-bank politics. He urged karyakartas to expose such agendas at the grassroots level.

He mentioned that Lord Ayyappa devotees have been repeatedly overlooked in Keralam and that irregularities in cooperative banks have endangered people’s hard-earned savings.

Focusing on development, PM Modi outlined the BJP-NDA’s vision for a “Viksit Keralam,” driven by pillars such as talent, technology, trade, and tourism. He highlighted the need to unlock Keralam’s immense potential in multiple sectors.

He also stressed connecting with Keralam voters living outside the state, encouraging them and their families to participate actively in the electoral process.

PM Modi urged karyakartas to present a clear vision for the future by preparing booth-level roadmaps reflecting people’s aspirations for the next five years. He emphasised that BJP-NDA’s governance is based on “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,”.

Reaffirming the spirit of Seva, Sangathan, and Samarpan, PM Modi praised Keralam’s BJP as resilient and dedicated, noting their years of struggle are now translating into growing public support.

He concluded with a strong call to action:
“Win every booth, strengthen every connection, and Keralam will script a new chapter of development with BJP-NDA.”
