Hon'ble CM visits primary school of Jasapar village in Surendranagar

On the second day of state government initiated Gunotsav program, Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modit today took a surprise visit to a 115 year old primary school at Jasapur village of Muli taluka in Surendranagar district. This primary school for boys in interior Jasapar village has 318 students in class 1-7. Whereas primary school for girls has 208 girls enrolled. The school has facilities like computers, drinking water, electricity, sanitation, a library and sport facilities.

Shri Modi directly went to this school situated in Jasapar village, a village with 3000-some population, today afternoon. He intensely assessed the school’s functioning including student’s interest in reading and their math skills. He also checked for what influence children are getting of the atmosphere of the school and extra curricular activities.

Shri Modi said that each and every child of the villages gets education and become free from malnutrition, is his priority.

He appealed to the parents that they should also encourage their children for studies. He stressed on the burden-less education, nutritious food, computer education, cleanliness habits and an intimate talk between students-teachers and child-parent.
