Hon'ble CM called on senior officials to review excessive rainfall situation

Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi has directed officials to urgently take up the cleaning process to prevent the possibilities of epidemic outbreak in excessive rain hit areas of the State including Ahmedabad.

Shri Modi today arranged a high-level meet to review the situation after heavy rain in the State. Urban Development and Water Resource Minister Shri Nitin Patel, Health Minister Shri Jaynarayan Vyas, Chief Secretary Shri A.K.Joti and all senior Secretaries attended the meet.

Chief Minister instructed officials to work on war footing for the dismissal of water deposition. He stressed to educate people for roping in them to meet the situation. He also asked for the quick assistance to the families of those who died in this rain havoc and to keep a monitoring on the water income and level in Ukai and Narmada dam.

Shri Modi also apprised officials to set a mechanism where public can be informed about water deposition and traffic situation through FM raido.
