The bullet brings destruction and the ballot brings development: PM Narendra Modi #ParivartanRally

On October 2nd, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a huge Rally in Bihar’s Banka district. Beginning his address, the PM said that Bihar would celebrate Diwali twice –one on the occasion of Diwali itself and the other on poll result day.

It was Shri Modi’s first rally in Bihar after polls were announced. The PM said that India can not develop until and unless Bihar prospers. He noted the immense contribution made by the people of Bihar in India’s development journey.

The PM said that that poor people of the country were at first priority. Adding further, the Prime Minister said that major agenda of the NDA was to ensure employment for the youth of Bihar and policies made benefit the farmers and add strength of women in nation building. PM Modi, recalling his recent visit to the USA, said that he met a few people belonging to Bihar there and was impressed with what they had achieved.

Speaking to people about the package allotted to Bihar from Central Government, Shri Narendra Modi said, “What we are doing for Bihar is not a favor, it’s your right and you gave me the honor of being the one to give it. But a few people who run this state are so egoistic that they return what the Centre sends to Bihar.” He quoted the example of Jharkhand that elected a BJP Government and was seeing the rapid development take place.

He took note of the fact that how Bihar was being ruined on the grounds of casteism,  and vote-bank politics. Taking a dig at the JD (U)-RJD-Congress alliance, the PM said that such people can never be trusted for good politics. He urged the people of Bihar to vote for a BJP led pro-development NDA Government in the upcoming state elections.

Prime Minister Modi also urged the Naxalites to shun violence and join the mainstream. Violence, he said would never solve anything but intensify the problems. “The bullet brings destruction and the ballot brings development”, said Shri Narendra Modi.

Several party leaders and karyakartas were also present at the occasion.
