The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, said that Nari Shakti is the identity of a strong India. He noted that the mothers, sisters and daughters of the country, through their unwavering determination, dedication and spirit of service, are enhancing the pride of India in every field.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit verse-

“देव्या यया ततमिदं जगदात्मशक्त्या निश्शेषदेवगणशक्तिसमूहमूर्त्या ।

तामम्बिकामखिलदेवमहर्षिपूज्यां भक्त्या नताः स्म विदधातु शुभानि सा नः ।।”

The verse invokes We offer our reverent salutations to Ambika-worshipped by all the gods and great sages-who, through her divine power, pervades this entire universe and who is the very embodiment of the collective powers of all the deities. May that Mother of the Universe bestow welfare upon us.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“हमारी नारी शक्ति सशक्त भारत की पहचान है। देश की माताएं-बहनें और बेटियां अपनी अटूट संकल्पशक्ति, निष्ठा और सेवाभाव से आज हर क्षेत्र में भारतवर्ष का गौरव बढ़ा रही हैं।

Prime Minister hails India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement as a historic milestone for bilateral relations

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has expressed delight that the India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement will enter into force on 15 July 2026.

The Prime Minister said that the agreement will significantly boost bilateral trade and investment.

Shri Modi stated that the agreement will unlock numerous opportunities for Indian farmers, workers, MSMEs, startups and innovators and contribute meaningfully to the realisation of Viksit Bharat 2047.

The Prime Minister noted that both he and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who are in Evian for the G7 Summit, are very happy with the significant momentum being added to India-UK economic ties.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“A historic milestone for India-UK relations.

Delighted to note that the India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement will enter into force on 15th July 2026.

This agreement will significantly boost our bilateral trade and investment.
