ଜାତୀୟ ପ୍ରେସ ଦିବସ ଅବସରରେ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀ ସାମ୍ବାଦିକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଭିନନ୍ଦନ ଜଣାଇଛନ୍ତି ।
“ଜାତୀୟ ପ୍ରେସ ଦିବସ ଅବସରରେ ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମର ସମସ୍ତ ବନ୍ଧୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋର ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛା । ଆମ ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମ ବିଶେଷ କରି ଖବରଦାତା ଏବଂ କ୍ୟାମେରାମେନଙ୍କ କଠିନ ପରିଶ୍ରମକୁ ମୁଁ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରୁଛି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ କି କ୍ଷେତ୍ରସ୍ଥଳରେ ଅବିଶ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଭାବେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରି ଖବର ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରିଥା’ନ୍ତି ଯାହାକି ଜାତୀୟ ଏବଂ ବୈଶ୍ୱିକ ତର୍କକୁ ଆକାର ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଥାଏ ।
ନିର୍ବାକ ଜନସାଧାରଣଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ୱର ଉତ୍ତୋଳନର ସୁଯୋଗ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରୁଥିବା ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମର ଭୂମିକା ପ୍ରଶଂସନୀୟ । ବିଗତ ତିନି ବର୍ଷ ଧରି ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମ ‘ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛ ଭାରତ ମିଶନ’କୁ ବଳ ଯୋଗାଇ ଆସିଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ଫଳପ୍ରଦ ଭାବେ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତାର ବାର୍ତ୍ତାକୁ ପୁନଃ ପ୍ରସାରିତ କରିଛନ୍ତି ।
ଆଜିର ଦିନରେ ଏବଂ ସମୟରେ ସାମାଜିକ ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମର ଅଭ୍ୟୁଦୟ ଏବଂ ମୋବାଇଲ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଖବର ଗ୍ରହଣ କରାଯାଉଥିବାର ଆମେ ଦେଖୁଛେ । ମୁଁ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଯେ ଏହିପରି ପ୍ରଗତି ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମର ପହଂଚକୁ ଆହୁରି ବିସ୍ତୃତ କରିବ ଏବଂ ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମର ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଆହୁରି ଗଣତାନ୍ତ୍ରିକ ଏବଂ ସହଭାଗିତା ସମ୍ପନ୍ନ କରିବ ।
ଏକ ମୁକ୍ତ ପ୍ରେସ ହେଇଛି ଏକ ଜୀବନ୍ତ ଗଣତନ୍ତ୍ରର ଆଧାରଶିଳା । ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମର ସ୍ୱାଧୀନତା ଏବଂ ସମସ୍ତ ରୂପରେ ମତପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବାର ସ୍ୱାଧୀନତା ରକ୍ଷା କରିବାରେ ଆମେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସଂକଳ୍ପବଦ୍ଧ । 125 କୋଟି ଭାରତୀୟଙ୍କ ଦକ୍ଷତା, ସାମର୍ଥ୍ୟ ଏବଂ ସୃଜନାତ୍ମକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶିତ କରିବାରେ ଆମ ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମମାନଙ୍କର ସ୍ଥାନ ବହୁଳ ଭାବେ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହେଉ, ଏହା ମୁଁ ଆଶା କରୁଛି,” ବୋଲି ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଛନ୍ତି ।
