ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ದಿನದಂದು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದವರಿಗೆ ಶುಭ ಕೋರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
“ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ದಿನದಂದು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ಮಿತ್ರರಿಗೂ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳು. ನಾನು ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದವರ ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಅವಿರತವಾಗಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಗತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಘಟಿಸುವ ವಿವಿಧ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಳನ್ನುಹೊತ್ತು ತರುವ ವರದಿಗಾರರು ಮತ್ತು ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಾಹಕರ ಶ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
ಧ್ವನಿ ಇಲ್ಲದವರಿಗೆ ಧ್ವನಿ ನೀಡುವ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಪಾತ್ರ ಶ್ಲಾಘನಾರ್ಹವಾದ್ದು. ಕಳೆದ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳು ‘ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ಭಾರತ ಅಭಿಯಾನ’ಕ್ಕೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬಲವನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿವೆ.
ಈ ದಿನ ಮತ್ತು ಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ತಾಣಗಳ ವೃದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಪಡೆಯುವುದನ್ನು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಈ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗಳು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಪ್ರಜಾತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾಗಿತ್ವಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಂಬಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
ಚಲನಶೀಲ ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಕ್ತ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಮೂಲೆಗಲ್ಲಾಗಿದೆ. ನಾವು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲ ವೇದಿಕೆಗಳ ಅಭಿವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಹಿಡಿಯಲು ಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ. 125 ಕೋಟಿ ಭಾರತೀಯರ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ, ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸೃಜನಾತ್ಮಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲು ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು” ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
