Under PM Narendra Modi, the urban landscape of Kashi has transformed: UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath today released the book, 'Meri Kashi'. The book contains information about the development work done in Varanasi in the last four years.

Speaking at the event, the UP Chief Minister said, "Shri Narendra Modi is diligently serving India as the PM but the people of Varanasi have a very special relation with him. For the people of Varanasi, Modi Ji is not only their PM but also their MP who has worked extensively for this ancient city."

CM Yogi Adityanath said that the transformation in Kashi was unbelievable. "We considered Kashi a land of spirituality but the city's infrastructure was inadequate. This changed under Shri Narendra Modi as he has transformed the urban landscape of this city", he added.

Shri Yogi Adityanath further said, "As the local MP, Shri Narendra Modi Ji is constantly monitoring the work going on in Kashi. He is always seeking details about the works completed and what other projects can be done to transform Kashi."

Eminent citizens and leading intellectuals based in Varanasi were present at the programme.

Prime Minister shares Sanskrit Subhashitam, pays tributes to revered Dr. Sree Sree Sree Sivakumara Swamigalu

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi paid tributes to the revered Dr. Sree Sree Sree Sivakumara Swamigalu, on his birth anniversary today. Shri Modi added that his incomparable contributions in the fields of education, social welfare, and spirituality will continue to inspire every generation of the nation towards selfless service.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit verse-

“पिबन्ति नद्यः स्वयमेव नाम्भः
स्वयं न खादन्ति फलानि वृक्षाः।

नादन्ति सस्यं खलु वारिवाहाः
परोपकाराय सतां विभूतयः॥”

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“मानवता के अनन्य उपासक परम पूज्य डॉ. श्री श्री श्री शिवकुमार स्वामीजी को उनकी जन्म-जयंती पर कोटि-कोटि नमन! शिक्षा, समाज कल्याण और अध्यात्म के क्षेत्र में उनका अतुलनीय योगदान देश की हर पीढ़ी को निस्वार्थ सेवा के लिए प्रेरित करता रहेगा।

पिबन्ति नद्यः स्वयमेव नाम्भः
