PM expresses gratitude to Prime Minister of Bangladesh

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister of Bangladesh,  Smt. Sheikh Hasina for her contribution to the COVID-19 Emergency Fund.

"Grateful to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh for announcing  $ 1.5 million as contribution to the COVID-19 Emergency Fund.  Through our solidarity and working together, we will overcome challenges posed by COVID-19”, the Prime Minister said.

Prime Minister condoles the demise of Faridpur MLA Dr. Shyam Bihari Lal Ji

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today condoled the demise of Dr. Shyam Bihari Lal Ji, Member of Legislative Assembly from Faridpur, Uttar Pradesh.

In a post on X, Shri Modi said:

“उत्तर प्रदेश के फरीदपुर के विधायक डॉ. श्याम बिहारी लाल जी के निधन से अत्यंत दुख हुआ है। वे जनहित में समर्पित भाजपा के एक कर्मठ नेता थे, जिनके जाने से पार्टी को अपूरणीय क्षति हुई है। शोक की इस घड़ी में उनके परिजनों और समर्थकों के प्रति मेरी गहरी संवेदनाएं। ओम शांति!”
