PM congratulates H. E. Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on his election as the Prime Minister of Pakistan

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has congratulated to H. E. Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on his election as the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Shri Modi has said that India desires peace and stability in a region free of terror so that both countries can focus on its development challenges.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said;

"Congratulations to H. E. Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on his election as the Prime Minister of Pakistan. India desires peace and stability in a region free of terror, so that we can focus on our development challenges and ensure the well-being and prosperity of our people."

भारत छोडो आंदोलनात सहभागी शूर स्वातंत्र्यसैनिकांना पंतप्रधानांकडून आदरांजली

पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी ऐतिहासिक 'भारत छोडो' आंदोलनात सहभागी झालेल्या सर्वांचे स्मरण करत भारताच्या स्वातंत्र्यलढ्यातील त्यांच्या धैर्य आणि दृढ निश्चयाला आदरांजली वाहिली आहे. महात्मा गांधीजींच्या नेतृत्वाखाली देण्यात आलेल्या 'भारत छोडो' आंदोलनाच्या हाकेने स्वातंत्र्यलढ्यात नवचैतन्य फुंकले आणि ब्रिटिश राजवटीतून मुक्त होण्याच्या भारतातील जनतेच्या अढळ संकल्पाचे दर्शन घडवले, असे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले.

पंतप्रधानांनी एक्स (X) वर पोस्ट केले:

"ऐतिहासिक 'भारत छोडो' आंदोलनातील सर्व सहभागींचे भावपूर्ण स्मरण. त्यांचे धैर्य प्रत्येक भारतीयासाठी सदैव प्रेरणादायी राहील. महात्मा गांधीजींच्या नेतृत्वाने प्रेरित होऊन दिलेला 'भारत छोडो'चा एल्गार आपल्या स्वातंत्र्यलढ्यात नवीन ऊर्जा भरून गेला आणि वसाहतवादी शासनातून मुक्त होण्याच्या आपल्या लोकांच्या अढळ निश्चयाचे त्याने प्रतीक बनले."
