Massive crowd attended PM Modi’s rallies in Arrah and Nawada, Bihar, today. Addressing the gathering in Arrah, the PM said that when he sees the enthusiasm of the people, the resolve for a Viksit Bihar becomes even stronger. He emphasized that a Viksit Bihar is the foundation of a Viksit Bharat and explained that by a Viksit Bihar, he envisions strong industrial growth in the state and employment opportunities for the youth within Bihar itself.

Continuing his election campaign in Arrah, PM Modi said that with voting scheduled on 6th November, there isn’t much time left. He stated that the NDA has presented an honest and visionary manifesto dedicated to the rapid development of Bihar and extended his appreciation to BJP, JDU, LJP, HAM and RLSP for it. He contrasted this with the opposition, saying that while the NDA’s manifesto is sincere, the ‘Jungle Raj’ alliance has turned their manifesto into a document of lies and deception.

Speaking about the NDA government’s Sankalp Patra, PM Modi said that the Mukhya Mantri Mahila Rozgar Yojana has brought happiness to women across Bihar, with ₹10,000 already deposited into the accounts of 1.3 crore women. He added that the support for women will be further expanded if the NDA returns to power. PM Modi emphasized that the government is committed to ensuring that the youth of Bihar can find opportunities within the state and make Bihar proud, noting that the Sankalp Patra outlines a plan to create one crore jobs in the coming years.

He further said that the government provides ₹6,000 annually to small farmers under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and that the new NDA government in Bihar will add an additional ₹3,000 from its side. He also announced the Bihar Dairy Mission to boost the income of livestock farmers in the state.

PM Modi also called out the opposition, highlighting their discomfort with India’s strong stance against terrorism. He said that India will continue to eliminate terrorists by entering their hideouts, citing the recent ‘Operation Sindoor’ as proof of the government’s commitment. He noted that while the nation felt proud of the valour of our armed forces, the Congress-RJD leadership was visibly unsettled.

As PM Modi continued his address, he said, “While the NDA is united with the resolve for a Viksit Bihar, the RJD-Congress alliance is in complete disarray. Just a day before nominations, there was chaos behind closed doors, where RJD forced Congress to accept its choice for the Chief Minister’s post.” He added that Congress had no say in the manifesto, no role in the campaign and that internal conflict has already peaked, warning that after the elections, they will turn on each other.

PM Modi strongly criticized the Mahagathbandhan, saying that while the NDA represents good governance, the opposition stands for the misrule of ‘Jungle Raj.’ He said that Jungle Raj was a dark period that hollowed Bihar from within. He added that RJD’s Jungle Raj is remembered for ‘Katta, Krurta, Kusanskar, Kusashan and Corruption.’

Recalling the misrule of the RJD era, he reminded the crowd of a 2004 incident in Bhojpur, where a doctor administering polio drops at a dispensary in the Tarari block was kidnapped by armed men while returning home late in the evening. He added that the Congress, the left groups and RJD’s Jungle Raj ruined Dalmianagar. The region once had sugar mills, cement plants, and paper factories, but during Jungle Raj, these units were shut down, mills were locked, factories closed and thousands lost their livelihoods.

Coming down heavily on the opposition, he said that the RJD-Congress alliance has repeatedly insulted the faith and heritage of the people. He recalled how RJD leaders once dismissed the Prayagraj Mahakumbh as ‘Faltu’ and how recently the Congress’ high command referred to the sacred Chhath festival as ‘drama.’ He stated that Bihar will never forgive those who disrespect its beliefs and culture.

In his second rally of the day in Nawada, PM Modi iterated, “Bihar endured decades of a double assault - Jungle Raj and Naxal violence. When you voted Nitish ji to power in 2005, you ensured Bihar’s liberation from Jungle Raj; and when you chose Modi in 2014, you guaranteed the fight against Naxal–Maoist terror.”

He added, “We worked day and night to free Bihar from Maoist violence, and today hundreds of Naxals are abandoning the path of bloodshed. The Constitution is prevailing and the nation is winning.”

Addressing the crowd, he urged everyone with a mobile phone to take it out and switch on the flashlight. Pointing at the sea of lights, he asked in a sharp dig at the RJD, “Now tell me - does Bihar still need those who run on lanterns?”

PM Modi underscored that whenever he visits Bihar, he sees the highest enthusiasm among the women of the state. Their massive presence today reflects that the women of Bihar have become a driving force of change. From Jeevika Didis powering the rural economy, to Lakhpati Didis setting examples of self-reliance, to Krishi Sakhis, Bank Sakhis and Namo Drone Didis shaping a modern Bihar - women are leading the transformation.

He further underlined that Bihar is destined to become a powerhouse of tourism and sports. The state holds immense cultural heritage, from Jain and Buddhist traditions to the land of Mata Janaki and Lav-Kush. The government is developing Ramayana and Buddhist circuits to bring more pilgrims and international tourists to Bihar. Alongside tourism, sports are emerging as a major avenue of opportunity, with world-class stadiums like Rajgir uplifting Bihar’s presence on the global sports map

“Bihar is on the path of progress and we must not let it pause. I urge the people of Bihar to give full support to the NDA. And to everyone who has come for Chhath, do not return without voting. Keep it in mind… ‘Pehle Matdan, Phir Jalpan,” he said while concluding his speech.
