For the last 9 years, our government has been spending a lot of money on building infrastructure in the country: PM Modi in Dausa
For decades, some people said Rajasthan was a 'BIMARU' state. But BJP is making Rajasthan one of the strongest states in the country: PM Modi in Dausa
Majority of the state's development projects are stuck due to the manner the Congress conducts its politics of Atkana, Latkana, and Bhatkana: PM Modi in Rajasthan
Our government has given constitutional status to the OBC Commission so that the OBC class gets constitutional protection: PM Modi in Dausa

Addressing a huge gathering in Dausa today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the people of Rajasthan for commencement of the first phase of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. He said, “Today, the Delhi-Dausa-Lalsot stretch of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, the longest expressway being constructed in the country, has been inaugurated. Due to this, it will be cheaper and easier to deliver milk, fruits and vegetables to a big market like Delhi.”

Talking about the benefits of Sohna-Dausa stretch of the expressway, the PM said, “For decades, some people have teased Rajasthan by calling it a BIMARU state. But BJP is making Rajasthan the strongest base of developed India. Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is connecting to Rajasthan, Delhi and Mumbai. This will work to make the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor more powerful. Also, with this, Rajasthan will be directly connected to the ports of Gujarat and Maharashtra. That means it will be easier to set up industry in Rajasthan and which will ultimately lead to job creation.”

“Today the country is moving forward with the mantra of ‘Virasat’ as well as ‘Vikas’. To promote tourism, work has also been done in Rajasthan under the Swadesh Darshan scheme. The BJP government has also developed Mehandipur Balaji here and Muchukund Dham in Dhaulpur. The development of our religious places is also one of the priorities of the BJP government,” he said.

Listing the achievements of the NDA government, PM Modi said, “Our government has worked for the development of women, poor, tribals and backward classes. Our government has given constitutional status to the OBC Commission so that the OBC class gets constitutional protection. For the first time, a special board was also formed by our government for the development and welfare of the Banjara community, the nomadic and semi-nomadic community.”

Prime Minister Modi said India has given a new name to millets – by addressing millets as Shri Anna. “Several steps have been taken in this year's budget to ensure that this Shri Anna gets market in the country and abroad, and to encourage the farmers,” he added. PM Modi also talked about the steps taken at every level for the convenience and respect of our soldiers in the last 9 years.

Targeting the Congress party for depriving the development of border villages for decades, he asserted, “The Congress governments did not develop the villages and towns along the border because they were afraid. I don't understand why Congress always underestimated the bravery of our soldiers. Our forces know very well how to stop the enemies on the border and give them a befitting reply. That's why now the BJP government is speeding up the development works in the border districts and also in the villages near the border.”

Highlighting the water woes of the state, PM Modi stated, “The solution to the water challenge in Rajasthan is the priority of the BJP government. We are committed to expand drinking water and irrigation facilities in 13 districts of eastern Rajasthan. A mega project has been drafted by connecting the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project and the old Parbati-Kalisindh-Chambal link. This draft has been shared by the central government with the governments of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.”

Hitting out at the opposition, PM Modi said, “The way the Congress does the politics of Atkana, Latkana and Bhatkana, the works of development are mostly stalled in the state. Neither do these people work themselves nor they allow others to work. Additionally, under the Congress rule, the situation with respect to law and order is getting worse and worse every day.”

PM Modi reportedly took a dig at the CM of the state as in a major goof-up recently, CM Ashok Gehlot read out excerpts of the previous budget instead of Budget 2023-24. He said, “It's not hidden from anyone how the present Congress in govt in Rajasthan is governing the state. What happened during the Budget session in the state Assembly is being discussed everywhere today. I agree anyone can commit a mistake but Congress has no vision.”
