PM's informal interaction with IAS officers participating in mid-career training programme

PM Modi had an informal interaction with about 100 senior IAS officers participating in a mid-career training programme.
Prime Minister Modi appreciated the views and suggestions expressed by the officers.
PM emphasized on the importance of continuous innovation and enhancement of administrative capacities and processes.
PM Modi spoke about the importance of sensible use of technology and infrastructure in administration
PM urged the officers to work with mutual team spirit and trust.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today interacted informally with about 100 senior IAS officers of Joint Secretary and Additional Secretary rank, participating in a mid-career training programme.

During the interaction, the officers shared their experiences in areas such as development works; agriculture, irrigation and food-processing; inflation; public health; tribal and social welfare; female foeticide; and skill development.

The Prime Minister appreciated the thoughts and suggestions expressed by the officers. He emphasized the importance of continuous innovation and enhancement of administrative capacities and processes. He spoke of the importance of judicious use of technology and infrastructure in administration, and also mentioned his interaction with various Ministries and State Governments through the PRAGATI platform. He urged officers to work with mutual team spirit and trust.

The Minister of State in the PMO, Shri Jitendra Singh, Cabinet Secretary Shri P.K. Sinha, and Additional Principal Secretary in the PMO, Shri P.K Mishra were present on the occasion.

PM Modi hails the commencement of 20th Session of UNESCO’s Committee on Intangible Cultural Heritage in India

The Prime Minister has expressed immense joy on the commencement of the 20th Session of the Committee on Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO in India. He said that the forum has brought together delegates from over 150 nations with a shared vision to protect and popularise living traditions across the world.

The Prime Minister stated that India is glad to host this important gathering, especially at the historic Red Fort. He added that the occasion reflects India’s commitment to harnessing the power of culture to connect societies and generations.
