जागतिक कविता दिनानिमित्त पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी कवींचे अभिनंदन केले आहे.
“अभिव्यक्तीचे उत्कृष्ट माध्यम आहे, हा वाडमयप्रकार लोकप्रिय करणाऱ्या कवींचे जागतिक कविता दिनानिमित्त मी अभिनंदन करतो.
मौखिक परंपरेने झालेल्या साहित्य निर्मितीच्या काळात कविता हा प्रकार केंद्रस्थानी होता; यामुळे जगभरातल्या असंख्य लोकांना आपल्यातील बहुमूल्य नवनिर्मितीची कला शब्दबध्द करुन प्रदर्शित करता आली”, असे पंतप्रधानांनी शुभेच्छा संदेशात म्हटले आहे.
