Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed four rallies in Bihar’s Munger, Begusarai, Samastipur and Nawada districts on October 8th. Addressing huge rallies, the PM said that sole agenda of the NDA was to develop the state of Bihar. Shri Narendra Modi said, “Bihar can no more tolerate Jungle-Raj, what it needs is Vikas-Raj.”

PM Modi targeted the JD (U)-RJD-Congress alliance and asserted that it was a ‘Mahaswarthbandhan.’ He said that they looted Bihar for the past sixty years and never contributed to the development of the state. He said that they divided the state on the grounds of casteism and vote-bank politics.

PM Narendra Modi said that Shri Lalu Prasad Yadav has always insulted the Yaduvansh who gave India the White Revolution. Taking a dig at Lalu Prasad Yadav and RJD, PM Modi said, “See how a leader insulted the Yaduvansh. Lalu ji, elections come and go but please do not forget these are the people who stood with you.” He dared the RJD Chief to tell people why he could not contest polls instead of making big statements.

He recalled Jananayak Karpuri Thakur, Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia’s invaluable contribution to the land of Bihar. Lambasting on Congress, the Prime Minister said, “Jayaprakash Narayan always fought corruption and his mission was to brighten India's future. It was during the Emergency imposed by Congress that Jayaprakash Narayan was sent to prison for raising voice against corruption.” Congress party, Shri Modi alleged played games with Narayan and was responsible for his demise. The PM also recalled Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia and said that he always stood for anti-Congress-ism but there were some who claimed to follow his ideologies now stood with Congress. PM Modi also quoted a few lines of Rastrakavi Dinkar –“Sinhasan Khali Karo Ki Janata Aati Hai.”

The Prime Minister made it clear that Bihar cannot be left in the hands of people who have looted the state. People of Bihar now wanted a change, they wanted development, stated the PM. He laid faith in the youth of Bihar. Shri Modi believed the youth in Bihar could do wonders and take the nation to newer heights. He said, “The times have changed and people won’t accept drama. Dreams and aspirations of people matter.”

The PM also talked about the various segments of the package given by the Central Government to Bihar. He highlighted that Government at Centre was committed to the development of the state and wanted to walk shoulder-to-shoulder in Bihar’s progress.

He urged the people to vote for a stable and development oriented BJP led NDA Government with 2/3rd majority in the State elections for Bihar’s progress. Several party leaders and Karyakartas were present during the rallies.
