The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi chaired an extensive meeting of the Advisory Board of WAVES through Video Conference today. WAVES is a global summit that brings together the world of entertainment, creativity and culture.

In a post on X, he wrote:

“Just concluded an extensive meeting of the Advisory Board of WAVES, the global summit that brings together the world of entertainment, creativity and culture. The members of the Advisory Board are eminent individuals from different walks of life, who not only reiterated their support but also shared valuable inputs on how to further enhance our efforts to make India a global entertainment hub.”

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi received a telephone call today from the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, H.E. Friedrich Merz.

As India and Germany celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations this year, Prime Minister and Chancellor Merz reviewed the progress of the India-Germany Strategic Partnership. They noted the sustained momentum in high-level exchanges and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation across key domains, including trade and investment, advanced technologies, clean energy, defense, education and talent mobility.

The leaders also exchanged views on regional and global developments of mutual interest and agreed to continue working closely to promote global peace, stability and prosperity.
