PM Modi addresses public meetings in Chimur, Solapur & Pune in Maharashtra

Mahayuti in Maharashtra, BJP-NDA in the centre, this means double-engine government in Maharashtra. This means 'double-raftaar' of development: PM Modi
For years, Congress has been undermining the rights and welfare of the SC/ST communities, using them as political tools: PM Modi in Chimur
In the last 10 years, we have given Rs 80,000 crore to sugarcane farmers through ethanol purchase: PM Modi in Solapur
This election in Maharashtra is a choice between Mahayuti's proven track record of development and Maha Aghadi's same old tape record of lies: PM Modi
The unity of OBCs, SCs and STs is troubling Congress, and therefore they want the communities to fight each other: PM Modi in Pune
To empower the people of Pune, infrastructure, investment and industry - all three are required. We have worked on every aspect of it: PM Modi

Campaigning in Maharashtra has gained momentum, with PM Modi addressing multiple public meetings in Chimur, Solapur & Pune. Congratulating Maharashtra BJP on releasing an excellent Sankalp Patra, PM Modi said, “This manifesto includes a series of commitments for the welfare of our sisters, for farmers, for the youth, and for the development of Maharashtra. This Sankalp Patra will serve as a guarantee for Maharashtra's development over the next 5 years."

Highlighting the speed and scale of the Mahayuti government, PM Modi stated, “Who better than the people of Chandrapur to know the speed at which the Mahayuti government works... and how these Aghadi leaders block progress? For decades, the people here had been demanding rail connectivity, but Congress and the Aghadi leaders never allowed it to happen. Our government approved the Kampa-Varora railway line. Along with Mahayuti in Maharashtra, BJP-NDA in the centre, this means double-engine government in Maharashtra. This means 'double-raftaar' of development.”

PM Modi slammed Congress for backing violence and separatism, stating, "Congress and its allies fuel violence for political gain. Recently, we saw the chaos in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly. Kashmir burned in separatism and terrorism for decades, thanks to Article 370, a Congress legacy. We abolished it, fully integrating Kashmir with India. Now, Congress and its allies are pushing to reinstate it, doing Pakistan’s bidding."

Emphasizing that farmers are a top priority, PM Modi said, "For Maharashtra’s prosperity, our farmers must prosper. Today, farmers are reaping the benefits of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. The Mahayuti government is also delivering double benefits through the Namo Shetkari Yojana."

“The bamboo from Chandrapur is famous worldwide. It is our government that changed decades-old regulations related to bamboo, making bamboo farming easier for you. Our government is also focusing on skill training for bamboo artisans in Gadchiroli and Chandrapur,” the PM added.

Exposing Congress's conspiracy against SCs and STs, Prime Minister Modi warned, "Congress and its allies are plotting to weaken the 10% tribal population by dividing them into castes. Here in Chimur-Chandrapur, they want to sow division among communities like the Gonds, Arakh, Paradhan, Pahari, Soroti, Halba, Halbi, Kolam, and Mannervarlu. If the tribal society is divided, its strength will fade. Congress’s Shehzada himself admitted this abroad. That’s why I say, we must not fall victim to Congress’s conspiracy. We must stay united—'Ek Hain Toh Safe Hain’."

PM Modi reiterated, "If you are not united, Congress will first take away your reservations. The Congress royal family has always believed they were born to rule, which is why they never let Dalits, backward classes, and tribals progress. Reservations empower these communities, and that's why Congress despises them. In the 1980s, they even questioned these rights. Today, Congress still speaks the language of the powerful, vowing to end reservations for Dalits, backward classes, and tribals. Stay alert against Congress and its allies."

In his second rally of the day, PM Modi stated, "The development Solapur has awaited for decades, and the long-stalled projects, have been completed by the Mahayuti government. Recently, I inaugurated the expansion of Solapur Airport, enhancing connectivity for all visitors. Solapur’s Palkhi pilgrimage tradition once posed challenges for pilgrims, but the new Palkhi Mahamarg has resolved them. Today, four-lane highways surround Solapur, and Vande Bharat trains operate from the city—achievements made possible by the BJP at the Center and the Mahayuti government in Maharashtra."

PM Modi took a jibe against the opposition and said, "The vehicle the Maha Aghadi is riding is the most unstable. They waste time fighting among themselves. You can see the chaos within the Aghadi right now. Even before the elections, there’s a tug-of war-over the Chief Minister’s post." He further added, "One party spends all day claiming their leader is the CM, while the other parties and Congress are rejecting their claim. Just think about it—this is their situation before the elections. The Aghadi can never provide Maharashtra with a stable government."

PM Modi also highlighted the Mahayuti government's commitment to women’s empowerment through initiatives like the ‘Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana’. “Despite opposition attempts to halt these benefits, women have gained financial strength,” he said.

In his final Pune rally, PM Modi said, "Empowering Pune requires investment, infrastructure, and industry, and we’ve focused on all three. Over the last decade, foreign investment has hit record highs, and Maharashtra has topped India’s list of preferred destinations in the past two and a half years. Pune and nearby areas are gaining a major share of this investment."

In Pune, PM Modi came down hard on the Congress party, saying, "The people of Maharashtra are witnessing Congress's misdeeds unfold in Karnataka. In Karnataka, Congress used the same old lies and false promises to win votes. Once in power, they gave up and started exploiting the public instead of delivering on their promises. Scandals are emerging almost daily, exposing Congress’s blatant loot of the people. It's rumored that this stolen money is funding Congress's campaign in Maharashtra. To protect Maharashtra, we must keep this Congress disaster away."

PM Modi emphasized the BJP-NDA government's focus on the middle class, stating, "Today, income tax is zero up to ₹7 lakh, and taxes for incomes between ₹10-12 lakh have been significantly reduced. Professionals in cities like Pune have greatly benefited. We've also made healthcare more affordable, saving the middle class over ₹30,000 crore through PM Jan Aushadhi Kendras, with discounts of up to 80%. Also, we have reduced the cost of heart stents and knee implants, offering substantial relief to the middle class."

Praising Pune as Maharashtra’s cultural hub, PM Modi said, "The Mahayuti government has taken key steps to protect and promote the state's culture. For years, the people of Maharashtra have demanded Marathi be given classical language status, but Congress and Maha Aghadi leaders ignored this. Our government has honored that demand by granting Marathi its rightful status. We are committed to preserving Maharashtra's rich heritage."

Wrapping up the rally, PM Modi remarked, "This election in Maharashtra is a choice between Mahayuti's proven track record of development and Maha Aghadi's same old tape record of lies. In every election, Congress repeats the same rumors—they tried it in Haryana and were rejected. Maharashtra must be equally vigilant. Today, one voice echoes across Maharashtra—'Only a Mahayuti government is needed.' Strengthen this voice and secure a decisive victory for all Mahayuti candidates."
