PM Narendra Modi addressed the Climate Ambition Summit 2020 via video conferencing. In his remarks, PM Modi said, "India is not only on track to achieve its Paris Agreement targets but to exceed them beyond expectations."
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam invoking blessings for the well-being, auspiciousness, protection, peace, wisdom and prosperity of all. The Subhashitam seeks the blessings of Lord Indra, Lord Surya, Lord Garuda and Lord Brihaspati.
The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-
“स्वस्ति न इन्द्रो वृद्धश्रवाः।
स्वस्ति नः पूषा विश्ववेदाः।
स्वस्ति नस्तार्क्ष्यो अरिष्टनेमिः।
स्वस्ति नो बृहस्पतिर्दधातु॥”
The Subhashitam conveys that May the glorious Lord Indra bless us with well-being. May Lord Surya, the knower of the entire universe and the sustainer of all, bring auspiciousness to us. May Lord Garuda, the destroyer of obstacles, protect us all. May Lord Brihaspati, the lord of knowledge, bless us with peace, wisdom and prosperity.
