Addressing a massive crowd of supporters at the ‘Bharat Vijay’ rally in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, on the afternoon of 26th March, 2014, Shri Narendra Modi expressed concern over the lack of development in UP and assured the people of progress under the BJP rule after 2014 Elections.

Emphasizing on the fact that the 2014 Lok Sabha elections were about sowing the seeds for India’s future, Shri Modi asserted that the Elections would also see the end of SABKA (SA – Samajwadi Party, BA – BSP and KA – Congress). “SABKA Vinash tai hai - SA - SP, BA - BSP and KA - Congress. People want to punish them,” said Shri Modi. Exposing the lack of development for communities under the UP government, and the false notions of secularism of Congress and others, Shri Modi urged the people not to support them. “They broke your trust and broke promises, you should severe your link with them,” said Shri Modi.

Urging the people to vote for the BJP in 2014 Elections, Shri Modi affirmed of peoples’ progress under the BJP and said, “We seek your blessings and we seek your support. On one side there is the Shahzada and on the other side there is a tea seller. There is Namdaar and there is a Kamdaar. But we assure that after assuming responsibility we will not rest for a minute. All the time will be for the people.”

Speaking on how the current government was perturbed by the rise of a tea seller into becoming the Nation’s Prime Ministerial candidate, Shri Modi said, “This is an election where there is a tea seller from the Opposition, and to defeat him, everyone has come together. They say Modi should not come. And why is there so much fear of Modi? This is because those who looted the nation know that after 16th May what is going to happen.”

In a scathing attack on the ruling government in UP, Shri Modi spoke of how the State had suffered badly on the development front, inspite of it being blessed with natural resources. Shri Modi also expressed concern over the fact that small industries in UP were shutting down and the youth had to leave the State and go to other places for jobs.

Empathizing with the condition of sugar farmers in UP, Shri Modi said that while they had made people’s lives sweeter, their own life had become bitter. Further, Shri Modi also stated how the adoption of Lab to Land approach had tremendously benefitted the farmers of Gujarat, and said, “We adopted the Lab to Land approach in Gujarat and this helped the farmers. Our farmer has the potential to turn sand into gold.”

Expressing concern over how the animal rearing community in UP had not progressed, inspite of the fact that the State’s CM belonged to the same community, Shri Modi said, “Despite the CM being from their community, what happened to those involved in animal rearing.”

Large number of people were present on the occasion.
