Gujarat Chief Minister announces Rs.1,111-crore for new 2,200 works for Amreli

Ahmedabad, Friday: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi expressed doubts about the future of the country as the Central Government has paralyzed in the run-up to vote-bank politics and development works coming to standstill, embroiled in corruption, inflation.Rounding up the day’s Sadbhavna fast at Amreli as p art of his state-wide ‘Sadbhavna Mission’, he s aid that while Gujarat is progressing at a very fast rate but the Centre threatens to push the opposition leaders in jail, not afraid of such talks.
The Chief Minister announced 2,200 new development works worth Rs.1,111-crore for Amreli district. He also announced allocation of Rs.300-crore Balapur irrigation project and Santli dam project.
About 24,000 people assembled from all the 11 talukas of the Amreli district to join Mr. Modi in his daylong fast.
