Delegation from the “Naga Hoho” calls on PM

A six member delegation from the Naga organization – Naga Hoho – called on the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today. The delegation was led by Mr. Chuba Ozukum, President of Naga Hoho.

The members appreciated the Prime Minister’s vision of development of the North-East. They emphasized their commitment to peace in the entire Northeastern region.

PM announces ex-gratia from PMNRF

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today condoled the loss of lives due to a bus mishap in the Alluri Sitharama Raju district of Andhra Pradesh. He announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF for the next of kin of each deceased and Rs. 50,000 to the injured.

The PMO India handle in post on X said:

“Pained by the loss of lives due to a bus mishap in the Alluri Sitharama Raju district of Andhra Pradesh. My thoughts are with the affected people and their families during this difficult time. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured.

An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000: PM @narendramodi”
