ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ನ್ಯೂಯಾರ್ಕ್ ನಲ್ಲಿಂದು ವಿಶ್ವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಮಹಾಧಿವೇಶನ (ಯು.ಎನ್.ಜಿ.ಎ.)ಯ 74ನೇ ಸಭೆ ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಮಹಾತ್ಮಾ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು, ಮಹಾತ್ಮಾ ಗಾಂಧೀ ಅವರ ಸತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅಹಿಂಸೆಯ ಸಂದೇಶ ಇಂದಿಗೂ ವಿಶ್ವದ ಶಾಂತಿ, ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಗತಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಎಂದರು.

ಜನ ಪರವಾದ ಉಪಕ್ರಮಗಳಾದ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ಭಾರತ, ಆಯುಷ್ಮಾನ್ ಭಾರತ, ಜನ್ ಧನ್ ಯೋಜನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಗುರುತಿನ ಚೀಟಿ (ಆಧಾರ್) ಅತಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆ ತಂದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಭಾರತ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಇಂಥ ಉಪಕ್ರಮಗಳು ವಿಶ್ವದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಭರವಸೆ ಮೂಡಿಸಿವೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಏಕ ಬಳಕೆಯ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲನೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಭಾರತದ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸಿದರು. ಮುಂದಿನ ಐದು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಷಯರೋಗ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲನೆ ಮಾಡುವ, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೂ ನೀರು ಪೂರೈಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೂ ಒಂದು ಮನೆ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವ ಭಾರತದ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿದರು.

ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಗೆ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತದ ಭಾಗ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ತಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಮಂತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ 130 ಕೋಟಿ ಭಾರತೀಯರ ಕನಸುಗಳನ್ನು ನನಸು ಮಾಡಲು, ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳು ಇಡೀ ವಿಶ್ವಕ್ಕೇ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂದರು. “ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಜನರ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಇಡೀ ವಿಶ್ವದ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿಯೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಸರ್ವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸರ್ವರ ವಿಕಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ಸರ್ವರ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ’’ವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದನೆ ಇಡೀ ವಿಶ್ವಕ್ಕೇ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸವಾಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು, ಮಾನವತೆಯ ಹಿತದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲ ದೇಶಗಳೂ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದನೆಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಒಗ್ಗೂಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು. “ಭಾರತ ವಿಶ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ, ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಬುದ್ಧನ ಶಾಂತಿ ಸಂದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ವಿಶ್ವಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಶಾಂತಿ ಪಾಲನಾ ಅಭಿಯಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಭಾರತ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸಿದರು.

ಬಹುತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಸ ಆಯಾಮ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಜಗತ್ತು ಹೊಸ ಮನ್ವಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈಗ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಗಡಿಯೊಳಗೆ, ತಮಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗಿರುವ ಕಾಲ ಇದಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು. “ವಿಭಜಿತವಾದ ವಿಶ್ವ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬರ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಯೂ ಅಲ್ಲ. ನಾವು ಬಹುತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶ್ವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸುಧಾರಣೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಒತ್ತಾಸೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ವಿಶ್ವದ ವಿವಿಧ ಸವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಭಾಯಿಸಲು ಸಂಘಟಿತ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ವಿಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂದಿಸಿದಂತೆ ತಮಿಳು ತತ್ವಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಕನಿಯನ್ ಪುಂಗುಂದರನಾರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿದರು. ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಂತಿ ವಿಶ್ವದ ಅತಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ನೀಡಿದ ಸಂದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಜಾಗತಿಕ ತಾಪಮಾನ ಏರಿಕೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು, ಜಾಗತಿಕ ತಾಪಮಾನ ಏರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಪಾಲೂ ಇದೆಯಾದರೂ, ತಲಾ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ಹೊರಸೂಸುವಿಕೆ ಲೆಕ್ಕಾಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿ ಅತ್ಯಲ್ಪ, ಇದರ ವಿರುದ್ಧದ ಸ್ಪಂದನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ ಮುಂಚೂಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ 450 ಗಿ.ವ್ಯಾ. ನವೀಕರಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಇಂಧನ ಗುರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸೌರ ಸಹಯೋಗ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹವಾಮಾನ ವೈಪರೀತ್ಯದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೋರಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

PM Modi highlights India's defence transformation over the last decade

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has highlighted the significant transformation witnessed in India’s defence capabilities over the last decade.

Shri Modi said that India’s defence capabilities have undergone a major transformation, guided by the vision of self-reliance and powered by innovation, technology and indigenous manufacturing.

The Prime Minister noted that the progress made in the defence sector over the last 12 years reflects India’s growing focus on strengthening national security through self-reliance.

The Prime Minister further stated that India has strengthened its defence capabilities across air, land and sea, advanced indigenous technologies and built a stronger foundation for self-reliance and national security.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“India’s defence capabilities have witnessed significant transformation over the last decade, guided by the vision of self-reliance and powered by innovation, technology and indigenous manufacturing.
