ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ಇಂದು ಘೋಘಾ ಮತ್ತು ದಹೇಜ್ ನಡುವೆ ರೋರೋ (ರೋಲ್ ಆನ್ ಮತ್ತು ರೋಲ್ ಆಫ್) ದೋಣಿ ಸೇವೆಯ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಹಂತವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ದೋಣಿ ಸೇವೆಯು ಸೌರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಘೋಘಾ ಮತ್ತು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಗುಜರಾತ್ ನ ದಹೇಜ್ ನಡುವಿನ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದ ಅವಧಿಯನ್ನು 7-8 ಗಂಟೆಯಿಂದ ಕೇವಲ 1 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಇಳಿಸಲಿದೆ. ಇಂದು ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಗೊಂಡ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಹಂತ, ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುವು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಲಿದೆ. ಯೋಜನೆ ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಗತವಾದ ಬಳಿಕ, ವಾಹನಗಳ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೂ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು ಭಾವ್ ನಗರ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಸಹಕಾರ ಹಾಲು ಉತ್ಪಾದಕರ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟ ನಿಯಮಿತದ ಸರ್ವೋತ್ತಮ ಪಶು ಆಹಾರ ಘಟಕವನ್ನೂ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೃಹತ್ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹೊಸ ವರ್ಷದ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಲು ತಾವು ಗುಜರಾತ್ ನಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು ಅತೀವ ಸಂತಸ ತಂದಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಘೋಘಾ ಮತ್ತು ದಹೇಜ್ ನಡುವೆ ದೋಣಿ ಸೇವೆ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಯು ಇಡೀ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಮಹತ್ವದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಈ ಮಾದರಿಯ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದೋಣಿ ಸೇವೆಯು, ಗುಜರಾತ್ಜನರ ಕನಸು ನನಸು ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಮಾನವನ ನಾಗರೀಕತೆಯು ನದಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಗರ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಗುಜರಾತ್ ಲೋಥಾಲ್ ಭೂಮಿಯಾಗಿದೆ; ನಾವು ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಈ ಅಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಮರೆಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ನಮ್ಮ ಗತ ವೈಭವವನ್ನು ಮರಳಿ ತರುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸೌರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಗುಜರಾತ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಈ ಎರಡು ವಲಯಗಳ ಜನರು ಆಗಾಗ್ಗೆ ದೂರ ದೂರದ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಮತ್ತು ಈ ದೋಣಿ ಸೇವೆ ಇಂಧನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಯ ಎರಡನ್ನೂ ಉಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಕಳೆದ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಗುಜರಾತ್ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಮಹತ್ವ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಗುಜರಾತ್ ಗೆ ದೀರ್ಘ ಕರಾವಳಿ ಇದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇದರಿಂದ ಸಿಗುವ ಲಾಭವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು. ಕರಾವಳಿ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಈ ದೋಣಿ ಸೇವೆ ಕೂಡ ಕೇವಲ ಈ ಒಂದು ಮಾರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸೀಮಿತವಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು. ಇತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳನ್ನೂ ದೋಣಿ ಸೇವೆಯಿಂದ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದರು. ಸಾರಿಗೆ ವಲಯವನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಗ್ರಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬುದು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರಕಾರದ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು ಘೋಘಾದಿಂದ ದಹೇಜ್ ವರೆಗಿನ ದೋಣಿ ಸೇವೆಯ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಪಯಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾನ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಈ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದ ವೇಳೆ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ದೋಣಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ದೋಣಿ ಸೇವೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತವಾಗಿ ವಿವರ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ದೋಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ದಿವ್ಯಾಂಗ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅವರು ಸಂವಾದ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
ದಹೇಜ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಭಿಕರನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ, ಪ್ರಗತಿಗಾಗಿ ಬಂದರು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಮುನ್ನೋಟವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಬಂದರುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಬಂದರುಗಳ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಸೂಕ್ತವಾದ ಸಂಪರ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದೆ, ದೇಶದ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕುಂಠಿತವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಬಂದರು ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಗಮನ ಹರಿಸಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ನೀಲಿ ಆರ್ಥಿಕತೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಒತ್ತಿನ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪ ಮಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಇದು ನವ ಭಾರತದ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಯ ಭಾಗ ಎಂದರು.
