ನವದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗಾಗಿ ನೂತನವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವ ವೆಸ್ಟರ್ನ್ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ವಸತಿ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ನವದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿಂದು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಭವನದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಸಂಸತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗಲಿದೆ.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡಿದ ಲೋಕಸಭಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸುಮಿತ್ರಾ ಮಹಾಜನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸುಮಿತ್ರಾ ಮಹಾಜನ್ ಅವರು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಸಂಸತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಯೋಗಕ್ಷೇಮದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚಿಂತಿಸುವವರು ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ನುಡಿದರು. ಅವರ ಈ ಸಹಕಾರ ಮನೋಭಾವ ಈ ಭವನ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಭವನ ನಿಗದಿತ ಅವಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಗೊಂಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ, ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು.
ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಗೊಂಡ ಸಂಸತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಹೋಟೆಲ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಇದು ಸುದ್ದಿಗೆ ಗ್ರಾಸವಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಹಿಂದಿನ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ನಿಗದಿತ ಸಮಯಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ತಂಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದುದ್ದು ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಭವನ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಈ ಕೊರತೆ ನೀಗಿದಂತಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಡಾ. ಬಾಬಾ ಸಾಹೇಬ್ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರು ತೋರಿಸಿದ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನುಡಿದ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಬಾಳ್ವೆ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ ಆದರ್ಶವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕಡುಬಡವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವುದು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಧ್ಯೇಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಡಾ. ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ ಪರಿನಿರ್ವಾಣ ಸ್ಥಳವಾದ ನವದೆಹಲಿಯ 26, ಆಲಿಪುರ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಬಾ ಸಾಹೇಬ್ ಅವರ ನೆನಪಿಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ಮಾರಕವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್, 13 ರಂದು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ನುಡಿದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮೋದಿ, ಕೇವಲ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಕಾರಣಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಕೆಲವು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು ಡಾ. ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸಿದರು.
