Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a huge crowd of supporters in two major rallies at Chhindwara and Indore in Madhya Pradesh.

Similar to his other rally in Chhattisgarh, PM Modi began his speech in Chhindwara with a scathing attack on the Congress party for its generations of misrule and misdeeds. He said, “With every passing day, it is becoming clearer that the Congress is bettering itself in manufacturing lies only. The people of Chhindwara are tired of the petty politics and false promises propagated by the Congress.”

Prime Minister Modi continued by saying that 15 years of rule of the BJP government has made people of Madhya Pradesh have faith in the BJP and its politics of ‘Vikas.’ He urged the people of Madhya Pradesh to vote keeping in mind this faith and the politics of ‘Vikas’ over petty politics.

PM Modi also mentioned about the recent video of a senior Congress leader from Madhya Pradesh that has taken the internet by storm in which the leader is seen talking about getting support from goons and anti-social elements in order to secure a victory for Congress in MP. PM Modi called such conduct by the Congress leader ‘absolutely unacceptable.’

PM Modi also questioned the Congress for its rule for over 4 generations and challenged it to present a report card of what it has done for the welfare of the people during all these years. In this context, Prime Minister Modi also described a statement by former Congress PM Rajiv Gandhi, who once said that for every Rupee released by the Government of India, only 15 paise reach the people.

Quoting this statement, PM Modi compared this situation of massive corruption with that under his government presently, where transforming initiatives like the Aadhaar have not only greatly curbed corruption but also saved the government nearly 90,000 crore rupees by cutting back leakages.

While addressing his second Madhya Pradesh rally at Indore, PM Modi first lauded Indore for being awarded the ‘Cleanest City in India’ under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. He said this feat was made possible only because of the people of this city committed themselves to cleanliness.

He also applauded the Madhya Pradesh government led by its Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan for his proactive and transparent governance.

PM Modi later drew attention of his supporters to the famous infighting going on among senior leaders in the Madhya Pradesh Congress. He said, “One senior Congress leader is not being allowed to campaign in these elections. The reason- Congress fears that if he campaigns, the Congress will lose because the people will be reminded of his years of misrule if he campaigns again.”

Similar to his other recent rallies, this rally also saw Prime Minister Modi coming down heavily on the Congress for ignoring the plights of common Indians and securing the interests of just one family.

The rally concluded by PM Modi urging all supporters in the state to vote in large numbers in the upcoming elections.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi chaired the 52nd meeting of PRAGATI, the ICT-enabled, multi-modal platform aimed at fostering Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation, by seamlessly integrating efforts of the Central and State Governments, earlier today at Seva Teerth.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister reviewed four critical infrastructure projects across the Road, Power, Industrial Corridor and Metro Rail sectors, covering four States and costing around ₹30,000 crore. These projects, important for economic growth, regional connectivity, industrial development and public welfare, were reviewed with focus on timelines, inter-agency coordination, issue resolution and timely completion.

Prime Minister underlined that delays in infrastructure projects not only lead to cost escalation, but also deprive people and industries of timely benefits. He asked the concerned Ministries and State Governments to resolve pending issues in a mission-mode manner and ensure close monitoring at the highest level.

Prime Minister emphasised the use of PM GatiShakti National Master Plan for efficient planning and timely implementation of infrastructure projects. He also underlined the need for regular and timely updation of project details, utilities, infrastructure layers, clearances and other field-level information on the portal. He further emphasised that the platform must reflect the latest ground situation so that bottlenecks can be identified in advance, inter-agency coordination can be improved and decisions can be taken on the basis of reliable, real-time data.

Prime Minister reviewed TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and emphasised the need to leverage latest digital technologies including Artificial Intelligence. He suggested a team of NCC cadets and MY Bharat volunteers, for awareness, patient follow-up and community mobilisation.

Prime Minister also reviewed grievances related to Cyber Crime and Digital Arrest. He expressed concern over the rising misuse of digital platforms to defraud citizens and stressed that such matters require coordinated, sensitive and time-bound handling by all concerned agencies. He noted that citizens should not be made to run from one department or agency to another. He also emphasized the need for clear ownership, faster response, better coordination among law enforcement agencies, banks and digital platforms, and stronger public awareness campaigns.

Prime Minister observed that in cases involving cyber fraud, timely action is crucial to prevent financial loss and restore public confidence. He asked all stakeholders to work in close coordination to strengthen prevention, reporting, investigation and grievance redressal mechanisms. He also emphasised that States should work towards enabling e-Zero FIR mechanisms for faster registration and response in cyber fraud cases.
