Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended and addressed News 18 Rising Bharat Summit. "At this time, the heat of the election is at its peak. The dates have been announced. Many people have expressed their opinions in this summit of yours. The atmosphere is set for debate. And this is the beauty of democracy. Election campaigning is in full swing in the country. The government is keeping a report card for its 10-year performance. We are charting the roadmap for the next 25 years. And planning the first 100 days of our third term," said PM Modi.

PM condoles loss of lives in firecracker factory mishap in Kaushambi

PM announces ex-gratia from Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in a mishap at a firecracker factory in Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh. Shri Modi conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Shri Modi also announced an ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) to the next of kin of each deceased and ₹50,000 for the injured.

The Prime Minister posted on X;

Extremely saddened by the loss of lives due to a mishap at a firecracker factory in Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh. My thoughts are with the bereaved families in this hour of grief. May the injured recover at the earliest.

An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000: PM @narendramodi
