On his visit to Odisha, PM Modi addressed a jubilant crowd in Jajpur and paid his tributes to former CM Biju Pattnaik on his birth anniversary. He said, "The presence of innumerable people here is a testimony to 400+ seats for the N.D.A. in 2024. He added, "The vision for 400+ seats for N.D.A. will enable India to become the 3rd largest economy on the back of strong decision-making & robust policy implementation."

Speaking on the prospects of development in Odisha, PM Modi said, "The last ten years have seen unprecedented investments in Odisha, and we aim to make Odisha the gateway of an Atmanirbhar & Viksit Bharat." He said that we are enabling the development of an industrial base in Odisha with several petrochemical & polyester-based industries.

In elaborating on Odisha's state of affairs before 2014, PM Modi said, "Before 2014, the Congress & its allies only indulged in large-scale corruption looting public money and filling their coffers." Whenever any poor person, Dalit & Tribal, sought the help of the Congress, the Congress would always ask for a guarantee, he added. PM Modi remarked, "In 2014, this changed as Modi's guarantee emerged for all those who didn't possess a guarantee." He said that be it the PM Vishwakarma Yojana or the PM JANMAN Yojana, Modi's guarantee began where all other guarantees ended.

Regarding Odisha's solar prowess, PM Modi said, "The PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana aims to facilitate self-sufficiency in electricity generation and provision, aiming to provide 300 units of free electricity to all." He said this will facilitate rooftop solar system growth in both the state and country. He added that our various schemes aim to enable a prosperous individual and families that will create a 'Viksit Bharat'.

Lamenting the I.N.D.I alliance with creating impediments to India's development, PM Modi said, "The members of the I.N.D.I alliance have become roadblocks to the development of India, whose motto is 'Family First.'" He added that our government works with the principle of 'Nation First' and is dedicated to the development of all. He said this principle has enabled the exit of 25 crore people from poverty over the last ten years and will also enable India to become the 3rd largest economy.

In conclusion, PM Modi said, "My duty is to work for the empowerment of all, and all the people of Odisha are Modi ka Parivar." He added that he is hopeful that the people of Odisha will keep supporting the B.J.P. to enable it to become victorious in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will attend a national level ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Sammelan’ on 13th April 2026 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi at around 11 AM. He will also address the gathering on the occasion.

The programme will witness participation of eminent personalities and women achievers from diverse fields. It will bring together representatives from different sectors such as government, academia, science, sports, entrepreneurship, media, social work and culture.

In September 2023, Parliament passed the ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’ marking a significant step towards enhancing women’s representation in legislative bodies. The programme will underscore the importance of enhanced representation of women in decision-making processes.

The Sammelan will highlight the role of women in the journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047. It will reflect the government’s continued commitment towards women-led development as a central pillar of the vision for Viksit Bharat 2047.
