PM Modi’s election campaign electrifies Telangana’s Secunderabad

Election fervour intensified in Telangana as Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the huge crowd in Secunderabad today ahead of the state assembly election. At the event, PM Modi said, “After independence, you have seen many governments in the country. Our government is such that its top priority is the welfare of the poor and the underprivileged have to be given priority. The mantra on which BJP works is ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas’. We are committed to ensuring social justice.”

PM Modi criticized the Telangana government, particularly expressing betrayal towards the Madiga community. He said that when Telangana was formed after many sacrifices, BRS leaders forgot the people of the state and went to thank Congress leaders first. “During the days of the movement, you were promised that only a Dalit would be made the first CM of Telangana. But after the creation of the state, KCR took over the CM’s chair, crushing every Dalit aspiration,” he added.

Launching a scathing attack on the BRS, Prime Minister Modi stated that BRS had also promised to give land to Dalits. He said, “Did the BRS fulfil this promise? BRS had talked about giving you thousands of crores of rupees through Dalit Bandhu Scheme. Did you benefit from it? The truth is that this scheme has become the scheme of relatives of BRS MLAs. The BRS government had also promised to waive off the loans of farmers. But farmers did not get the benefit of this either. The government here has given you Irrigation Scams instead of Irrigation Schemes.

In Secunderabad, PM Modi took aim at both BRS and Congress and asked the people to be cautious of both the parties. He said, “BRS is anti-Dalit and Congress is no less than that. While BRS insulted Baba Saheb Ambedkar by demanding a new Constitution, the history of Congress is also similar. Congress opposed Baba Saheb and did not allow him to win the elections twice. Congress did not allow Baba Saheb’s photo to be installed in the Central Hall of the old Parliament House for decades. Because of Congress, Baba Saheb was not even given Bharat Ratna for decades.”

PM Modi went all guns blazing against the I.N.D.I. Alliance, he criticized the Congress-led alliance, particularly highlighting the Chief Minister of Bihar’s involvement in what he termed as casteist politics. He reminisced, “I remember the CM of Bihar continuously insulted my close friend and Dalit leader Ram Vilas Paswan ji. Even when it came to the question of Rajya Sabha seat for Ram Vilas Paswan, he was reluctant to support him.”

The Prime Minister recounted another instance where Bihar CM Nitish Kumar insulted another Dalit leader, the former CM of Bihar, Jitan Ram Manjhi. The recent incident involved the alleged humiliation of Jitan Ram Manjhi in the Bihar Assembly, suggesting a pattern of arrogance and disrespect towards Dalits, which PM Modi asserted as the identity of Congress and its allies.

Deciphering the mutual understanding between BRS and Congress, Prime Minister Modi asserted that there is little to differentiate between the two when it comes to corruption. The PM stated, “Generally in India, different states cooperate with other states for development schemes. But the BRS government, in collaboration with Delhi’s Aam Aadmi Party, has committed a liquor scam worth thousands of crores of rupees. These people cooperate in corruption, not in work.”

“The BRS party of Telangana indulges in blatant corruption in collaboration with the Aam Aadmi Party, a staunch ally of the Congress in Delhi. Then, the same BRS is also doing the drama of fighting against Congress. The people of Telangana must be very careful of this duplicity,” the PM added.

Addressing the massive crowd, the PM iterated, “Congress and BRS are together. They play their games behind the curtains. On one side is Congress and BRS, and on the other is BJP. They have the mentality to rule the people while BJP is dedicated to serving the people.”

Emphasizing the BJP government’s commitment to the welfare of poor, the PM announced the extension of the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana for the next five years. PM Modi said, “Keeping in mind the interest of the farmers of Telangana, the Central Government is continuously increasing the government procurement of paddy. In the past years, paddy worth more than Rs 1,30,000 crore has been purchased here. The central government also takes boiled rice from farmers.”

“Now our government has decided that in this Kharif season, an additional 20 lakh metric tonnes of boiled rice will be purchased from the farmers of Telangana. With this, our farmers will get more benefits of MSP,” he further added.

Singling out the injustice done to the Madiga community in Telangana, PM Modi said, “We are committed to ending this injustice as soon as possible. I know that there are many people here who have struggled for their rights for a long time. It is our promise that we will soon form a committee, which will create a new path for your empowerment.”

Wrapping up his remarks, PM Modi asserted, “Only BJP can guarantee social justice to the people of Telangana. Only BJP can take Telangana on the golden path of development. I am confident that BJP and your support will play an important role in the formation of double engine government in Telangana .”

गत् सप्ताह, बजट वेबिनार सीरीज के पहले वेबिनार का आयोजन हुआ, और मुझे ऐसा बताया गया कि वो बहुत सफल रहा, और बजट प्रावधानों के Implementation को लेकर हर किसी ने काफी उत्तम सुझाव दिए, सबकी सक्रिय भागीदारी का मैं स्वागत करता हूं और आज इस सीरीज के दूसरे वेबिनार का आयोजन हो रहा है। और मुझे बताया गया कि आज हजारों की तादाद में, ढेर सारे विषयों पर अनगिनत लोग अपने सुझाव देने वाले हैं। विषय के जो एक्सपर्ट्स हैं, वे भी हमसे जुड़ने वाले हैं। इतनी बड़ी तादाद में बजट पर चर्चा, ये अपने आप में एक बहुत सफल प्रयोग है। आप सब समय निकाल करके इस वेबिनार में जुड़े। मैं आप सभी का अभिनंदन करता हूं, आपका स्वागत करता हूं। इस वेबिनार की थीम देश की Economic Growth को निरंतर मजबूती देने से जुड़ी हुई है। आज जब भारत अपनी मजबूत economy से पूरे विश्व की उम्मीद बना हुआ है, आज जब ग्लोबल सप्लाई चैन re-shape हो रही है, तब अर्थव्यवस्था की तेज प्रगति विकसित भारत का भी बहुत बड़ा आधार है। हमारी दिशा स्पष्ट है, हमारा संकल्प स्पष्ट है, Build more, produce more, connect more और अब जरूरत है Export more, और निश्चित तौर पर इसमें आज आपके बीच जो मंथन होगा, इस मंथन से जो सुझाव निकलेंगे, उनकी बड़ी भूमिका होगी।

साथियों,

आप सब जानते हैं, मैन्युफैक्चरिंग, लॉजिस्टिक्स, हमारे MSME's, लघु उद्योग, कुटीर उद्योग, इतना ही नहीं, हमारे छोटे-बड़े शहर, ये अर्थव्यवस्था के पिलर्स के तौर पर दिखने में तो अलग-अलग लगते हैं, लेकिन वे सभी interconnected हैं। जैसे, मजबूत मैन्युफैक्चरिंग नए अवसर तैयार करती है, और इससे निर्यात में बढ़ोतरी होती है। Competitive MSMEs से flexibility और इनोवेशन को बढ़ावा मिलता है। बेहतर लॉजिस्टिक्स से लागत कम होती है। Well-planned शहर investment और talent दोनों को अपनी ओर खींचते हैं। इन सभी पिलर्स को इस साल के बजट ने बहुत मजबूती दी है।

लेकिन साथियों,

कोई भी दिशा अपने आप परिणाम नहीं बन जाती, जमीन पर बदलाव तब आता है, जब industry, financial institutions, राज्य सरकारें, मिलकर उसे वास्तविकता बनाते हैं। मेरी अपेक्षा है, इस वेबिनार में आप सभी अपने मंथन में कुछ विषयों को जरूर प्राथमिकता दें, जैसे मैन्युफैक्चरिंग और प्रॉडक्शन, ये कैसे बढ़े, Cost structure को कैसे कंपटीटिव बनाया जा सकता है, निवेश का प्रवाह कैसे तेज हो, और विकास कैसे देश के कोने-कोने तक पहुंचे। इस दिशा में आपके सुझाव बहुत अहम साबित होंगे।

साथियों,

मैन्युफैक्चरिंग के क्षेत्र में आज देश कोर इंडस्ट्रियल क्षमताओं को मजबूत कर रहा है। और इस मार्ग में जो चुनौतियां हैं, उन्हें भी दूर किया जा रहा है। Dedicated Rare Earth Corridors, कंटेनर मैन्युफैक्चरिंग, ऐसे सेक्टर्स पर फोकस करके हम अपने ट्रेड इकोसिस्टम को मजबूत करने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं। बजट में बायोफार्मा शक्ति मिशन की घोषणा भी की गई है। इस मिशन का उद्देश्य है, भारत को biologics और next-generation थेरेपीज के क्षेत्र में ग्लोबल हब बनाना। हम Advanced Biopharma Research और मैन्युफैक्चरिंग में लीडरशिप की ओर बढ़ना चाहते हैं।

साथियों,

आज दुनिया विश्वसनीय और resilient manufacturing partners की तलाश में है। भारत के पास यह अवसर है कि वह इस भूमिका को मजबूती से निभाए। इसके लिए आप सभी स्टेकहोल्डर्स को बहुत आत्मविश्वास के साथ निवेश करना होगा, नई टेक्नोलॉजी अपनानी होगी और रिसर्च में जो कंजूसी करते हैं ना, वो जमाना चला गया, अब हमें रिसर्च में बड़ा इनवेस्टमेंट करना होगा, और ग्लोबल स्टैंडर्ड के अनुरूप क्वालिटी भी सुनिश्चित करनी होगी, और मैं बार-बार कहता हूं कि अब हमें आगे बढ़ने के जब अवसर आए हैं, तो हमारा एक ही मंत्र होना चाहिए, क्वालिटी-क्वालिटी-क्वालिटी।

साथियों,

भारत ने बहुत सारे देशों के साथ फ्री ट्रेड एग्रीमेंट किए हैं। हमारे लिए अवसरों का, यानि अवसरों का बहुत बड़ा द्वार खुला है। ऐसे में हमारी ज़िम्मेदारी है कि हम क्वालिटी पर कभी भी समझौता ना करें, अगर किसी एक चीज पर सबसे ज्यादा ताकत, बुद्धि, शक्ति, समझ लगानी है, तो हमें क्वालिटी पर बहुत ज्यादा जोर देना चाहिए। हमारे प्रोडक्ट्स की क्वालिटी ग्लोबल स्टैंडर्ड, इतना ही नहीं, उससे भी बेहतर हो। और इसके लिए हमें दूसरे देशों की जरूरतों को, वहां के लोगों की अपेक्षाओं को भी, उसका अध्ययन करना पड़ेगा, रिसर्च करनी पड़ेगी, उसे समझना होगा। हमें दूसरे देशों के लोगों की पसंद और उनके कंफर्ट को स्टडी करना, ये सबसे बड़ी आवश्यकता है, और रिसर्च करनी चाहिए। मान लीजिए कोई छोटा पुर्जा मांगता है, और वो बहुत बड़ा जहाज बना रहा है, लेकिन हम पुर्जे में चलो भेज दो, क्या है? तो कौन लेगा आपका पुर्जा? भले आपके लिए वह छोटा पुर्जा है, लेकिन उसकी एक बहुत बड़ी जो मैन्युफैक्चरिंग की यूनिट है, उसमें बहुत बड़ा महत्व रखता है। और इसलिए आज दुनिया में हमारे लिए क्वालिटी ही इस कंपिटिटिव वर्ल्ड के अंदर सुनहरा अवसर बना देती है। हमें उनके हिसाब से यूजर फ्रेंडली प्रोडक्ट बनाने होंगे। तभी हम उन अवसरों का लाभ उठा पाएंगे, और जो फ्री ट्रेड एग्रीमेंट तैयार हो चुका है, अब ये विकास का महामार्ग आपके लिए तैयार है। मैं उम्मीद करता हूं कि इस वेबिनार में इस विषय पर फोकस करते हुए भी आप सब जरूर चर्चा करेंगे।

 

साथियों,

हमने MSME classification में जो Reforms किए, उसका व्यापक प्रभाव दिख रहा है। इससे enterprises का ये डर खत्म हुआ है कि वो अपना विस्तार करेंगे, तो उन्हें सरकार की ओर से मिलने वाले फायदे बंद हो जाएंगे। क्रेडिट तक MSME's की आसान पहुंच बनाने, टेक्नोलॉजी अपग्रेडेशन को बढ़ावा देने और कपैसिटी बिल्डिंग की दिशा में लगातार प्रयास हुए हैं।

लेकिन साथियों,

इन प्रयासों का असर तभी दिखाई देगा, जब MSMEs ज्यादा से ज्यादा कंपटीशन में उतरेंगे, और विजयी होने का लक्ष्य लेकर उतरेंगे। अब समय है कि MSMEs अपनी प्रोडक्टिविटी और बढ़ाएं, क्वालिटी स्टैंडर्ड्स को ऊंचा करें, डिजिटल प्रोसेस और मजबूत वैल्यू चैन से जुड़ें। इस दिशा में, इस वेबिनार में आपके सुझाव बहुत अहम होंगे।

साथियों,

इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर और लॉजिस्टिक्स हमारी growth strategy के कोर पिलर्स हैं। इस वर्ष के बजट में रिकॉर्ड कैपिटल एक्सपेंडिचर का प्रस्ताव है। High-capacity transport systems का निर्माण, रेलवे, हाइवे, पोर्ट, एयरपोर्ट, वाटरवे के बीच बेहतर तालमेल, अलग-अलग फ्रेट कॉरिडोर और मल्टी-मोडल कनेक्टिविटी का विस्तार, ये सभी कदम खर्च कम करने और efficiency improve करने के लिए आवश्यक है। इसलिए, नए वाटरवेज, शिप रिपेयर फैसिलिटी और Regional Centres of Excellence हमारे लॉजिस्टिक इकोसिस्टम को मजबूत करेंगे। सात नए हाई-स्पीड रेल कॉरिडोर विकास के ग्रोथ कनेक्टर बनने वाले हैं। लेकिन आप भी जानते हैं, इस इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर का वास्तविक लाभ तभी मिलेगा, जब उद्योग और निवेशक अपनी रणनीतियों को इस विजन के अनुरूप में ढालेंगे। ये रणनीतियां क्या होगी, इस पर भी आपको विस्तार से चर्चा करनी चाहिए, और मुझे पूरा विश्वास है कि आप जरूर इन बातों पर ध्यान देंगे।

 

साथियों,

भारत की विकास यात्रा में अर्बनाइजेशन, शहरीकरण का भी बहुत अहम रोल है। भारत की future growth इस बात पर निर्भर करेगी कि हम अपने शहरों को कितना effectively plan और manage करते हैं। हमारे Tier-II और Tier-III शहर, नए growth anchors कैसे बनें, इसके लिए भी इस बजट वेबिनार में आपके सुझाव बहुत अहम होंगे।

साथियों,

आज दुनिया की अर्थव्यवस्था में एक बड़ा परिवर्तन चल रहा है। बाजार अब केवल लागत नहीं देखते हैं, वे sustainability भी देखते हैं। इस दिशा में Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage Mission एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल है। अब sustainability उसको आपको core business strategy का हिस्सा बनाना ही होगा। जो उद्योग समय रहते क्लीन टेक्नोलॉजी में निवेश करेंगे, वे आने वाले वर्षों में नए-नए बाजारों तक बेहतर पहुंच बना पाएंगे। इस साल बजट ने नई दिशा दी है। मेरा आग्रह है कि उद्योग, निवेशक और विभिन्न संस्थान मिलकर इस पर आगे बढ़ें।

साथियों,

विकसित भारत का लक्ष्य collective ownership से ही हासिल किया जा सकता है। ये बजट वेबिनार भी सिर्फ discussion का प्लेटफॉर्म ना बने, सिर्फ अपने ज्ञान को हम बटोरते रहे, ऐसा नहीं होना चाहिए, बल्कि इसमें collective ownership दिखे, ये बहुत जरूरी है। बजट ने framework दिया है, अब आपको मिलकर momentum पैदा करना है। आपको हमारे प्रयासों में सहभागी बनना है। आपका हर सुझाव, हर अनुभव जमीन पर बेहतरीन नतीजें लाने की क्षमता रखता है। आपके सुझाव देश की प्रगति में माइलस्टोन बनें, इसी विश्वास के साथ आपका बहुत-बहुत धन्यवाद।
