પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આજે કહ્યું હતું કે, એનસીસી કેડેટનું જીવન યુનિફોર્મ, પરેડ અને કેમ્પથી વિશેષ છે. તેમણે નવી દિલ્હીમાં એનસીસી રેલીને સંબોધતા ઉમેર્યું હતું કે, એનસીસીનો અનુભવ દેશ માટે મિશન પર હોવાની ભાવના જન્માવે છે.
પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, એનસીસીનો અનુભવ ભારતની ઝાંખી, તેની તાકાત અને તેની વિવિધતાનો અનુભવ કરાવે છે. તેમણે કહ્યું હતું કે, રાજામહારાજાઓ, શાસકો, સરકારોથી દેશનું નિર્માણ થતું નથી, પણ દેશનું નિર્માણ તેના નાગરિકો, યુવાનો, ખેડૂતો, નિષ્ણાતો, વિજ્ઞાનીઓ, વર્કફોર્સ અને સંતોથી થાય છે.
તેમણે કહ્યું હતું કે, એનસીસી કેડેટ ભારતના ભવિષ્યમાં વિશ્વાસની ભાવના જગાવે છે અને આપણી યુવા પેઢીની તાકાત વિશે ગર્વ લાવે છે.
પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ સ્વચ્છતા અભિયાનને આગળ વધારવામાં એનસીસીની ભૂમિકાને બિરદાવી હતી. તેમણે ડિજિટલ વ્યવહારો તરફની આગેકૂચ ચાલુ રાખવા પણ અપીલ કરી હતી.
