પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આજે વીડિયો કોન્ફરન્સિંગ મારફતે રોહતકમાં રાષ્ટ્રીય યુવા મહોત્સવના ઉદ્ઘાટન સમારંભને સંબોધન કર્યું હતું.
તેમણે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, સ્વામી વિવેકાનંદનું જીવન દર્શાવે છે કે કોઈ પણ વ્યક્તિ યુવાન વયે સિદ્ધિ મેળવી શકે છે અને તેમણે ઉમેર્યું હતું કે, આજે યુવાનો જે કામ કરે છે, એ રાષ્ટ્રના ભવિષ્ય પર અસર કરશે.
આ મહોત્સવની થીમ યુથ ફોર ડિજિટલ ઇન્ડિયા છે, જેના પર પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ ખુશી વ્યક્ત કરી હતી. તેમણે યુવાનોને કેશલેસ વ્યવહારો પર લોકોને માર્ગદર્શન આપવા અપીલ કરી હતી. ભ્રષ્ટાચાર અને કાળું નાણું આપણા રાષ્ટ્રની પ્રગતિને નુકસાનકારક છે તેવું ઉમેર્યું હતું.
પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, ટેકનોલોજીના પ્રભાવથી સમય બદલાઈ ગયો છે અને અત્યારે સામૂહિકતા, જોડાણ અને રચનાત્મકતાની જરૂર છે. તેમણે કહ્યું હતું કે, ભ્રષ્ટાચાર સામેની લડાઈમાં યુવા પેઢીનું સમર્થન મને ખાતરી આપે છે કે દેશમાં હકારાત્મક ફેરફાર લાવવો શક્ય છે.
