પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આજે પૂણે મેટ્રો પ્રોજેક્ટ (તબક્કો-1)નું ખાતમુહૂર્ત કર્યું હતું.

આ પ્રસંગે શહેરમાં એકત્રિત વિશાળ જનમેદનીને સંબોધતા પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કહ્યું હતું કે, ભારતનું ઝડપથી શહેરીકરણ થઈ રહ્યું હોવાથી બે દિશામાં કામ કરવું જરૂરી છેઃ એક, ગ્રામીણ વિસ્તારોમાં જીવનની ગુણવત્તા સુધારવી અને બે, આપણા શહેરી વિસ્તારોના પડકારોનું સમાધાન કરવા લાંબા ગાળાના ઉપાયો વિચારવા.
આપણે ભવિષ્ય માટે યોજના બનાવવી જોઈએ તેવું ભારપૂર્વક જણાવી પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કહ્યું હતું કે, દરેક બાબતને રાજકીય દ્રષ્ટિકોણથી જોઈ ન શકાય. તેમણે ઉમેર્યું હતું કે, આપણે આપણા શહેરોની વૃદ્ધિ માટે પર્યાપ્ત યોજના બનાવવી જોઈએ.

પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, કેન્દ્ર સરકાર રુર્બન મિશન પર સક્રિયપણે કામ કરે છે, જે ઝડપથી શહેરીકરણ પામતા અને વિકાસના માર્ગે અગ્રેસર સ્થળોમાં જરૂરી સેવા પ્રદાન કરશે.
પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કહ્યું હતું કે, અત્યારે જે ફાયદા થઈ રહ્યા છે એ મહત્વપૂર્ણ છે, પણ આપણે ભવિષ્યની જરૂરિયાતો અને આકાંક્ષા પૂરી કરે તેવી વ્યવસ્થા વિકસાવવાની જરૂર છે. તેમણે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, જે પ્રોજેક્ટ્સ હાથ ધરવામાં આવે એ નિશ્ચિત સમયમર્યાદામાં પૂર્ણ થાય એ માટે સરકાર પ્રયાસરત છે.

પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, સરકાર ગેસ ગ્રિડ, વોટર ગ્રિડ, ડિજિટલ નેટવર્ક, સ્પેસ ટેકનોલોજીનો ઉપયોગ અને ખેડૂતોને મદદરૂપ થાય તેવી ટેકનોલોજીનો ઉપયોગ કરવા કાર્યરત છે.
તેમણે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, આ દેશમાં દરેક કાયદા સમક્ષ દરેક સમાન છે અને દરેક નાગરિકે કાયદાનું પાલન કરવું પડશે. તેમણે ઉમેર્યું હતું કે, જો ભ્રષ્ટાચાર અને કાળા નાણાંના દૂષણને અગાઉ ડામવામાં આવ્યા હોત, તો તેમને ડિમોનેટાઇઝેશનનો નિર્ણય લેવાની ફરજ ન પડી હોત.

પૂણે રાજ્ય અને દેશનું મહત્વપૂર્ણ શૈક્ષણિક કેન્દ્ર હોવાનું જણાવી પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ ઓનલાઇન બેંકિંગ પદ્ધતિને અપનાવવા માટે લીધેલા અને ઉપલબ્ધ સુવિધાઓ અજમાવવા બદલ પૂણેની પ્રશંસા કરી હતી.

આ દેશમાં 125 કરોડ ભારતીયોનો અવાજ સંભાળશે. આ અવાજ થોડા લોકો દબાવી ન શકે તેવું પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ ઉમેર્યું હતું.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam today, highlighting how continuous practice in thought, word, and action shapes one's character and direction in life.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

"कर्मणा मनसा वाचा यदभीक्ष्णं निषेवते।

तदेवापहरत्येनं तस्मात् कल्याणमाचरेत्॥"

Whatever a person continuously practices through their actions, thoughts, and words ultimately shapes their personality and draws them in that very direction; therefore, one should always give space only to beneficial subjects in one's thoughts and conversations.
