પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ એન્જિનિયર્સ ડે પર તેમની હાર્દિક શુભેચ્છા પાઠવી હતી. તેમણે ભારતમાં આ દિવસ જેમની જન્મજયંતીએ ઉજવાય છે એ ભારત રત્ન એમ. વિશ્વેશવર્યાને પણ યાદ કર્યા હતા.
પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કહ્યું હતું કે, એન્જિનિયર્સ ડે પર તમામ એન્જિનિયર્સ કે જેમની વિધ્વતા, સમર્પણ અને જીજીવિષાને લીધે કેટલાક મહત્વપૂર્ણ આવિષ્કાર થયા છે. આપણે ગર્વ અને આનંદ સાથે ભારત રત્ન એમ. વિશ્વેશવર્યાને સલામ કરીએ. તેમને પાયાના એન્જિનિયર તરીકે યાદ રખાશે અને સન્માન અપાશે.
