PM Modi interacted with BJP karyakartas across Puducherry under the “Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot” initiative, energising grassroots members and reinforcing the central role of booth-level strength in ensuring electoral success. He recalled his vision of “BEST” - Business, Education, Spirituality, and Tourism as the guiding mantra for the Union Territory’s development.

Opening the interaction, PM Modi described himself as a fellow karyakarta, expressing pride in working alongside the dedicated cadre of Puducherry. He lauded their efforts at the grassroots level, noting that their direct connect with citizens is the BJP’s biggest strength.

Drawing a sharp contrast with previous regimes, PM Modi highlighted how Puducherry has transformed under the BJP-NDA’s double-engine government. He noted that the earlier Congress-DMK rule was marked by poor governance, neglect of public welfare, and economic decline, whereas the present dispensation has brought stability, development, and renewed public trust. He urged karyakartas to effectively communicate this contrast, especially to first-time voters.

PM Modi emphasised that BJP-NDA stands for “Puducherry First” and “India First,” unlike opposition parties driven by “family-first” politics.

PM Modi underscored the improvements in law and order, particularly women’s safety, noting that Puducherry today offers a secure environment for women compared to several opposition-ruled states. He urged karyakartas to engage with women voters in small groups and spread awareness.

Focusing on youth and economic growth, PM Modi highlighted the transformation of Puducherry’s tourism sector under the double-engine government. He noted the shift towards high-value, sustainable tourism, improved infrastructure, and global recognition of destinations like Eden Beach.

PM Modi emphasised the need for targeted outreach to beneficiaries of central schemes, encouraging karyakartas to connect every household with welfare initiatives and ensure maximum participation.

He also outlined how various initiatives of the Union Government are helping the fishermen community and enhancing their quality of life.

Reiterating the core values of Seva, Sangathan, and Samarpan, PM Modi said that the dedication of Puducherry’s BJP cadre reflects the true spirit of the organisation. As elections approach, he urged every karyakarta to strengthen booth management, intensify outreach, and ensure that every vote is mobilised.
