প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী আজ কেরলের তিরুবনন্তপুরমে বিক্রম সারাভাই মহাকাশ কেন্দ্র পরিদর্শন করেছেন। সেখানে প্রায় ১,৮০০ কোটি টাকার তিনটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মহাকাশ পরিকাঠামো প্রকল্পের উদ্বোধন করেছেন তিনি। এর মধ্যে রয়েছে - শ্রীহরিকোটার সতীশ ধাওয়ান মহাকাশ কেন্দ্রে এসএলভি ইন্টিগ্রেশন ফেসিলিটি, মহেন্দ্রগিরির ইসরো প্রপালশন কমপ্লেক্সের সেমি-ক্রায়োজেনিক্স ইন্টিগ্রেটেড ইঞ্জিন অ্যান্ড স্টেজ টেস্ট ফেসিলিটি এবং ভিএসএসসি-তে ট্রিসোনিক উইন্ড টানেল। প্রধানমন্ত্রী ‘গগনযান মিশন’-এর কাজের অগ্রগতি খতিয়ে দেখেন এবং চার হবু মহাকাশচারীকে অ্যাস্ট্রোনট উইংস প্রদান করেন। এঁরা হলেন – গ্রুপ ক্যাপ্টেন প্রশান্ত বালাকৃষ্ণন নায়ার, গ্রুপ ক্যাপ্টেন অজিত কৃষ্ণন, গ্রুপ ক্যাপ্টেন অঙ্গদ প্রতাপ এবং উইং কম্যান্ডার শুভাংশু শুক্লা। 

 

প্রধানমন্ত্রী হবু মহাকাশচারীদের সম্মানে সবাইকে উঠে দাঁড়াতে বলেন। গোটা প্রেক্ষাগৃহ ‘ভারতমাতা কি জয়’ ধ্বনিতে মুখর হয়ে ওঠে। প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, আজ এমন এক দিন যেদিনের জন্য বর্তমান প্রজন্ম গর্ববোধ করবে। অযোধ্যায় নতুন কালচক্র শুরু হয়েছে বলে যে মন্তব্য প্রধানমন্ত্রী করেছিলেন, সে প্রসঙ্গ টেনে তিনি বলেন, ভারত আজ বিশ্বের মহাকাশ ক্ষেত্রে এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ শক্তি হয়ে উঠেছে। 

 

প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, চাঁদের দক্ষিণ মেরুতে প্রথম দেশ হিসেবে চন্দ্রযানের সফল অবতরণ ভারতকে এক অনন্য উচ্চতায় পৌঁছে দিয়েছে। সারা বিশ্ব আজ ভারতের শক্তি সম্পর্কে অবহিত হয়েছে। হবু মহাকাশচারীদের সম্পর্কে তিনি বলেন, এঁরা কেবল কোন ব্যক্তি নন, এঁরা চারজন শক্তি যাঁরা ১৪০ কোটি ভারতীয়ের আশা-আকাঙ্ক্ষাকে মহাকাশে নিয়ে যাবেন। ৪০ বছর পর আবার কোনো ভারতীয় মহাকাশে যেতে চলেছেন। 

 

প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, এই হবু মহাকাশচারীদের নাম ভারতের সাফল্যের সঙ্গে অবিচ্ছেদ্যভাবে জড়িয়ে থাকবে। তাঁদের নিষ্ঠা ও ইচ্ছাশক্তির প্রশংসা করেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী। তিনি বলেন, অমৃতকালে ভারতের এই প্রজন্ম কখনই হাল ছেড় দেয় না। যেকোনো ধরনের প্রতিকূলতার মোকাবিলা তাঁরা করেন। সারা দেশের আশীর্বাদ ও শুভকামনা তাঁদের সঙ্গে রয়েছে বলে প্রধানমন্ত্রী মন্তব্য করেন। 

 

প্রধানমন্ত্রীকে গগনযান মিশনের অগ্রগতি সম্পর্কে জানানো হয়। গগনযানের বেশিরভাগ সরঞ্জাম ভারতে তৈরি হওয়ায় প্রধানমন্ত্রী সন্তোষ প্রকাশ করেন। তিনি বলেন, ভারত যখন বিশ্বের প্রথম তিনটি অর্থনীতির মধ্যে জায়গা করে নিতে চলেছে, তখন গগনযানের এই প্রস্তুতি এক চমৎকার পরিবেশের সূচনা করেছে। 

 

ভারতের মহাকাশ কর্মসূচিতে নারীশক্তির ভূমিকার প্রশংসা করে প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, চন্দ্রযান হোক বা গগনযান, মহিলা বিজ্ঞানীদের অবদান ছাড়া কোনো প্রকল্পই কল্পনা করা যায় না। ইসরো-তে ৫০০-রও বেশি মহিলা নেতৃত্ব দিচ্ছেন বলে তিনি জানান। 

 

প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, ইসরোর সাফল্য আজকের একটি শিশুকেও বিজ্ঞানী হতে উৎসাহিত করছে। রকেটের কাউন্টডাউন ভারতের লক্ষ লক্ষ শিশুকে উদ্বুদ্ধ করছে। যারা আজ কাগজের বিমান তৈরি করে ওড়াচ্ছে, তারাই আগামীদিনে মহাকাশ বিজ্ঞানী হয়ে উঠবে। চন্দ্রযান যেদিন চাঁদের মাটিতে অবতরণ করেছিল, সেই ৩ আগস্ট দিনটি ‘মহাকাশ দিবস’ হিসেবে উদযাপন করা হবে বলে তিনি জানান। 

 

ইসরো-র প্রশংসা করে প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, তাঁরা সমগ্র জাতিকে ভবিষ্যৎ সম্ভাবনার নতুন দিগন্ত দেখাচ্ছেন। ভারতের মহাকাশ অর্থনীতি আগামী ১০ বছরের মধ্যে পাঁচগুণ বেড়ে ৪৪ বিলিয়ন ডলারে পৌঁছবে বলে তিনি জানান। মহাকাশ ক্ষেত্রে ভারত আগামীদিনে বিশ্বজনীন বাণিজ্যিক কেন্দ্রে পরিণত হবে বলে মন্তব্য করেন শ্রী মোদী।

Prime Minister speaks with the President of Iran

President Pezeshkian briefs PM on the recent developments in West Asia.
PM welcomes the understanding reached and reiterates the need for continued efforts for lasting peace and stability.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had a telephone conversation today with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian.

President Pezeshkian briefed the Prime Minister on the recent developments in West Asia and the way forward.

Prime Minister welcomed the understanding reached, and reiterated India’s consistent position that all issues must be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy.

Prime Minister reiterated the need for continued efforts to ensure lasting peace and stability in the region, and for safeguarding freedom of navigation and commerce.
