আকাশপথে পাঞ্জাবের বন্যা দুর্গত এলাকা পরিদর্শন ও পরিস্থিতি পর্যালোচনা করলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী; অতিরিক্ত ১ হাজার ৬০০ কোটি টাকা সহায়তার ঘোষণা

PM announces Rs.2 lakh ex-gratia for the next of kin of the dead and Rs.50,000 for the injured
PM announces comprehensive support under the PM CARES for Children scheme to children orphaned due to recent floods and landslides
PM meets affected families and offers condolences
PM also meets personnel of the NDRF, SDRF and Aapda Mitra volunteers and praises their efforts
Central Government assures all help for restoration and rebuilding of infrastructure in the affected areas

প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী আজ পাঞ্জাবের বন্যা পরিস্থিতি পর্যালোচনা করলেন। এর আগে মেঘ ভাঙা বৃষ্টির ফলে ঐ রাজ্যের বন্যা বিধ্বস্ত এলাকা আকাশপথে পরিদর্শন করেন তিনি। 
 

গুরদাসপুরে সরকারি আধিকারিক ও জনপ্রতিনিধিদের সঙ্গে পর্যালোচনা বৈঠকের পর প্রধানমন্ত্রী ঐ রাজ্যের জন্য আরও ১ হাজার ৬০০ কোটি টাকার আর্থিক সহায়তার কথা ঘোষণা করেন। এই অর্থ পাঞ্জাব সরকারের কোষাগারে থাকা ১২ হাজার কোটি টাকার অতিরিক্ত। এসডিআরএফ এবং পিএম কিষাণ সম্মান নিধি বাবদ দ্বিতীয় কিস্তির টাকা ঐ রাজ্যকে আগেই দিয়ে দেওয়া হবে। 
 

বন্যা বিধ্বস্ত এলাকায় ত্রাণের কাজে বহুমাত্রিক উদ্যোগের কথা তুলে ধরেছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী। পিএম আবাস যোজনার মাধ্যমে বাড়ি পুনর্নির্মাণ, জাতীয় সড়কগুলির মেরামতি, স্কুল বাড়িগুলির পুনর্নির্মাণ, প্রধানমন্ত্রীর ত্রাণ তহবিল থেকে সহায়তা এবং গবাদি পশুর জন্য মিনি কিট বিতরণ এর মধ্যে অন্তর্ভুক্ত। 
 

বন্যায় মৃতদের পরিবার প্রতি ২ লক্ষ টাকা এবং গুরুতর আহতদের ৫০ হাজার টাকা করে আর্থিক সহায়তার কথা জানান প্রধানমন্ত্রী। বন্যা ও ভূমিধ্বসের জেরে অনাথ হয়ে পড়া শিশুদের পিএম কেয়ার্স – এর আওতায় সহায়তা দেওয়া হবে।

পরিস্থিতি মোকাবিলায় কেন্দ্রীয় ও রাজ্য বিপর্যয় মোকাবিলা বাহিনী, সেনাবাহিনী, রাজ্য প্রশাসন ও বিভিন্ন সংগঠন যেভাবে কাজ করছে, তা অত্যন্ত প্রশংসনীয় বলে প্রধানমন্ত্রী উল্লেখ করেছেন।

Prime Minister greets everyone on the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today conveyed his greetings on the sacred occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi. He noted that this auspicious day is about the eternal message of devotion and compassion.

Shri Modi prayed that Bhagwan Vitthal’s blessings bring joy, harmony and prosperity, and guide everyone towards a better society. The Prime Minister also wished that He may strengthen our resolve to serve and work tirelessly for the welfare and dignity of every person.

In a series of posts on X, the Prime Minister shared: 

"Greetings on the sacred occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi. This auspicious day is about the eternal message of devotion and compassion. May Bhagwan Vitthal’s blessings bring joy, harmony and prosperity and guide us towards a better society. May He strengthen our resolve to serve and work tirelessly for the welfare and dignity of every person."
