TMC’s credibility has reached “zero” as courts repeatedly intervene in governance: PM Modi in Arambagh rally

PM Modi addressed massive public gatherings in Bangaon and Arambagh, delivering a sharp message against TMC’s corruption, syndicate raj and fear politics, while presenting BJP’s roadmap for development, security and prosperity in West Bengal.

In Bangaon, PM Modi raised concerns over the collapse of Bengal’s industrial ecosystem, questioning the shutdown of factories and mills in regions once known for manufacturing. He said corruption, syndicate raj and land capture have replaced growth, forcing people, especially youth, to migrate in search of jobs.

Focusing on women empowerment, he stated that “Nari Shakti” has been the worst affected under TMC rule and called upon women to lead the change. He highlighted BJP’s commitment towards women’s safety, dignity and economic empowerment through schemes related to healthcare, housing, financial assistance and livelihood opportunities.

Addressing the aspirations of Bengal’s youth, PM Modi emphasised their immense creative potential and spoke about promoting the “orange economy” as a new growth engine. He assured expansion of opportunities through initiatives like Khelo India, better sports infrastructure and support for emerging talent.

Reaffirming BJP’s stand on refugee welfare, he recalled the legacy of Syama Prasad Mookerjee and said the party has always stood with displaced families since Partition. He assured that eligible refugees will receive citizenship and full rights without fear.

In Arambagh, PM Modi said record voter turnout reflects a decisive mandate against fear politics, stating:“Bhoy OUT- bhorosha IN… BJP ke vote din!”

He remarked that after 15 years of intimidation, the people of Bengal are now determined to defeat injustice, adding that when oppression crosses limits, people rise like Maa Durga to end it.

Launching a sharp attack on governance, he said TMC’s government is run not from Nabanna but by “gundas and mastans,” or only acts after court interventions. Citing multiple examples including recruitment scams, panchayat elections, Sandeshkhali and other cases, he said TMC’s credibility has reached “zero.”

He stated that courts have repeatedly had to step in due to lack of trust in the state government, even ordering central forces during elections and investigations by central agencies. He added that attempts to obstruct probes in cases like coal scams have been strongly criticised by the judiciary.

Highlighting economic decline, PM Modi said Bengal’s industrial belt has suffered due to “maha-jungle raj,” with closed jute mills, stalled projects and rising unemployment.

Calling TMC a “taalaband sarkar,” he said its policies have forced farmers into distress, labourers into uncertainty and youth into migration. He emphasised that investment and industries require trust, not fear, and reiterated BJP’s commitment to revive Bengal as a hub of factories and enterprise.

PM Modi concluded by urging people to vote decisively for BJP, stating that only a government free from fear, corruption and syndicate control can unlock Bengal’s true potential.
