Prime Minister congratulates José Antonio Kast Rist on assuming the office of the President of Chile

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi congratulated José Antonio Kast Rist on assuming the office of the President of Chile. Shri Modi stated that he looks forward to working closely with him to further strengthen the warm and friendly relations between India and Chile and to deepen cooperation across trade, technology and energy. “Best wishes for a successful tenure! ”, Shri Modi said.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

“Warm congratulations to José Antonio Kast Rist on assuming the office of the President of Chile. The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising on auspicious thoughts guiding the path of progress:

“आ नो भद्राः क्रतवो यन्तु विश्वतोऽदब्धासो अपरीतास उद्भिदः।

देवा नो यथा सदमिद् वृधे असन्नप्रायुवो रक्षितारो दिवे दिवे॥”

The Subhashitam conveys that, may auspicious and inspiring thoughts come to us from all directions – thoughts that grant us enthusiasm, energy, and the strength to move forward. May those thoughts be steadfast, unconquerable, and capable of opening the path to progress. May the divine powers infuse our lives each day with growth, advancement, and renewed zeal and inspire us to keep moving ahead while protecting us day after day.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;
