PM congratulates Darpan Inani for winning gold in chess at Asian Para Games

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, congratulated Darpan Inani for winning a gold medal in the men's chess at the Hangzhou Asian Para Games today.

He said Inani's win is a testimony to India's exceptional talent on the global scale.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"Congratulations to Darpan Inani for a stellar performance in Men's Chess B1 Category (Individual) at the Asian Para Games.

His unwavering strength and determination have not only earned him the Gold Medal but also showcased India's exceptional talent on the global stage."

Prime Minister Highlights Sanskrit Wisdom in Doordarshan’s Suprabhatam

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today underscored the enduring relevance of Sanskrit in India’s cultural and spiritual life, noting its daily presence in Doordarshan’s Suprabhatam program.

The Prime Minister observed that each morning, the program features a Sanskrit subhāṣita (wise saying), seamlessly weaving together values and culture.

In a post on X, Shri Modi said:

“दूरदर्शनस्य सुप्रभातम् कार्यक्रमे प्रतिदिनं संस्कृतस्य एकं सुभाषितम् अपि भवति। एतस्मिन् संस्कारतः संस्कृतिपर्यन्तम् अन्यान्य-विषयाणां समावेशः क्रियते। एतद् अस्ति अद्यतनं सुभाषितम्....”
