এক ট্যুইটে প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেছেন, “নন্দপ্রুস্তি জী’র মৃত্যু বেদনাদায়ক। ওড়িশায় শিক্ষার আনন্দ ছড়িয়ে দেওয়ার প্রয়াসের কারণে অত্যন্ত সম্মানিত “নন্দ স্যার” পরবর্তী প্রজন্মের জন্য চিরস্মরণীয় হয়ে থাকবেন। তিনি কয়েক সপ্তাহ আগে পদ্ম পুরস্কার অনুষ্ঠানে সকলের নজর কেড়ে ছিলেন। ওম শান্তি।”
