The entire nation suffered greatly under ‘Mahamilawati’ governments of Congress-SP-BSP but still they say ‘Hua Toh Hua’: Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed two major election rallies in Robertsganj and Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh today. At the rallies PM Modi spoke about the importance of having a strong and responsive government to ensure the security and development of a nation and said that every vote in favour of the BJP will result in the formation of such a government again post-elections.

PM Modi congratulated the efforts of all the scientists and leaders involved in the successful testing of India’s nuclear missiles 21 years ago under the able leadership of former NDA PM Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He added, “Strong and bold decisions on national security such as nuclear testing or Operation Shakti can only be conducted by a government that treats the nation’s security as its priority. The BJP-led NDA governments have always demonstrated their paramount commitments to strengthening national security as a top priority which has greatly benefitted the people of our country as well as enhanced our reputation as a strong nation globally.”

Tearing apart the Congress and its ‘Mahamilawat’ allies for neglecting India’s development with their poor governance and endemic corruption, Prime Minister Modi said, “The people of Uttar Pradesh vividly remember how weak and opportunist governments formed by Congress-SP-BSP ruined the state’s potential, its economy and law and order with their rampant corruption, divisive politics of votebank appeasement and promoting nepotism and dynastic politics for ten years in to the 21st century. However, these parties have no qualms about their misdeeds; rather than accepting their mistakes, they say ‘Hua Toh Hua’ (What’s happened has happened). Such justifying statements of the Congress and its Bua-Babua allies shows the utter contempt they have for the welfare of the people of U.P. Their prime agenda in this election is not discussing about issues like national security or development, it is about abusing Modi and grabbing power by any means possible.”

Concluding his wide-ranging address to the overwhelming crowd, PM Modi described how since coming to power in 2014 and 2017 respectively, BJP governments at Centre and U.P have achieved significant milestones in improving the lives of ordinary people through schemes like Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. He assured his supporters that with the continued support of UP, the BJP governments will take the state to newer heights of development and prosperity to make the dream of a ‘New India’ come true for every Indian.
