On the occasion of Swarnim Gujarat government will fulfill 50 golden goals.

Chief minister Narendra Modi had undertaken a meeting for two days to come up with 50 golden goals that Gujarat Government will fulfill on the occasion of the completion of 50 years of Gujarat state's foundation. The meeting continued for six hours on both the days.

In the meeting Finance Minister Vijubhai Walla, Revenue Minister Aanandi ben Patel, Youth and Cultural activities Minister Shri Fakir bhai Vaghela, Health and Travel Minister Shri JayNarayan Vyas and organizing state minister Shri Sorabh Patel Chief Executive Shri D Rajgopalan and Senior Executive Shri V N Marya made a presentation.

In reference to lay a strong foundation Chief Minister Narendra Modi had defined 50 golden goals. Chief Minister had urged to all department for absolute public participation. He declared that if the goals of Government sector and public development are aligned then the dream of having Swarnim Gujarat can be easily achieved.

In the last 50 years Gujarat state has made tremendous progress and each citizen has made contribution as per his strength, as a result of peoples effort Gujarat has created a model of development. He appealed to the people to take the pledge to contribute to Swarnim Gujarat.

PM to inaugurate 28th Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth on 15th January

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 28th Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth (CSPOC) on 15th January 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan, Parliament House Complex, New Delhi. Prime Minister will also address the gathering on the occasion.

The Conference will be chaired by the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Shri Om Birla and will be attended by 61 Speakers and Presiding Officers of 42 Commonwealth countries and 4 semi-autonomous parliaments from different parts of the world.

The Conference will deliberate on a wide range of contemporary parliamentary issues, including the role of Speakers and Presiding Officers in maintaining strong democratic institutions, the use of artificial intelligence in parliamentary functioning, the impact of social media on Members of Parliament, innovative strategies to enhance public understanding of Parliament and citizen participation beyond voting, among others.
